Its far easier to apply Conditions than Hexes, plus Conditions come more frequent your teams way than hexes do.
If DH changed its energy cost too 5E target other ally it would be overpowered, plus it is simpy not needed.
Anyways please Stay on topic. Moko has already taken the time to split the SoL discussion to a seperate thread from the other one. Don't make more work for her, seeing as divine is lazy and wouldn't bother to do it <3

Depends on the area. Gloom is annoying when you're the melee. Even Divert isn't enough.

I have a somewhat noob question about SoL.
I have a monk for farming purposes, and I've been thinking of using it for ursanway to help guildies when there's no monks around.
We know SoL is good in ursan groups, so what level Sunspear do you guys recommend as the minimum rank?
Being a farmer and not a campaigner, this character has a very low SS rank.
I've seen groups kick monks for not having SoL but to me, it looks like Healing Seed is much more worthwhile (most take both seeds these days)

the min rank i would say rank 7 which means it will last 4 sec +20%. Anything below that makes it worthless

Seed Casts instantly and only costs 5 energy, whereas Healing Seed takes time to cast and costs 10. if you have a decent rank in SS, Seed of Life, in high end areas, when you cast it on someone taking heavy dmg, like an Ursan on the front lines, heals the group basically to full health. You'll see +26's or whatever your amount is filling up the screen as soon as you cast it.

probably not. it seems like people usually want to just add on and not bother reading what's already been said. lol. but they can have their own opinions too.
