Is it worth having a sin as a main?
What the title states, is it worth having a sin as a main character, to get titles and stuff on it, leave shadow form away from here please...I mean, I got a derv, that has some maxed titles n stuff, but I've heard the sins are way better then dervs . In damage and in using the scythe..So I was wondering if it's better to have a sin over a derv for main char.

i think he is better than the dervish at least at dmg and has some versatility(daggers-moebius,cithscythe,barrage,critspear,ap caller),and its nice to be able to farm a lot of stuff.I wouldnt choose sin as my main but melle is not rly my type and the fact that he is sort of squishy,but definetly better than the dervish i'd say

Is it worth it to have any main? Pick a class you love at first but soon want to never play again after vanquishing 100+ areas and humping the walls of every explorable and mission and failing with pugs and end up doing everything with H/H

This is a good point, if you plan on getting GWAMM, or the Vanquisher or Guardian title, you need to mainly enjoy playing the class.
Assassin is definately a viable option though, with their ability to Critical frequently, using an Axe, Bow + Scythe all work well.
Also, Sheik :Maybe you should find a friend to play with..?
Pugs = :[.

^What this eloquent individual said. The more you get done with any given character the less reason You'll have to keep playing them.

Only if you like the profession. Try assassin out first and see if it pulls you in. If you like your derv better then you can always go back to it. Also you don't always have to have a main character; some people have 3 "mains".

GW is a game remember, play what you want to play so you actually have fun (people have gotten GWAMM with Mesmers and Rits and other professions people say are useless in PvE with, so 'they aren't good enough' isn't an excuse).
