I use it to farm the undeads outside Bergen and then clear Cursed Lands. Glyph of Swiftness to recharge SoJ faster (only ~5 seconds without SoJ)

I'm not getting much from this run....Just like one or two emblems a run. Never gotten more than 3 emblems a run, and been farming for 6 hours. There are people who're getting like a stack of these an hour, but it took me about 8 hours to farm 130 of em. Tried on both NM and HM. =\

Hard mode is the only way to go. NM gets you bullshit drops.
Since loot scaling effects these emblems... Hard mode will drop more every time. I've gotten a good amount of them in almost no time, not to mention, hard mode gets you tomes, lockpicks, golds, and a crapload of black/white dyes.

Which Monk build are you using? Hard or Normal, How does that group of grasps treat you?

i've been getting tons from gates. the best way is 600hp duo build for hm. kills them in seconds and barely any scatter.
HM = good gold items too
and i'm getting lots of trick or treat bags =) like 6 or so a run ave.
whole run took about 1min and 30 secs

Do you make the larger group spawn, or just the standard one?

Ok, my experiences with GoK farming so far:
If you are going pure for the Emblems and ToT drops, going solo NM is fastest. Going 55/SoJ HM is much slower, especially compared to my D/Mo build. It can clear NM solo in 3-5 mins.
The downside of NM is less rare drops. But since you kill MUCH faster, the number of rare drops per hour is more or less the same. Still the stats on these rares are inferior to those of HM. Still, dont pretend they are good to sell, cos the skins common, overfarmed and good mods are rare. They are almost exclusivly ONLY good for ID-title.
D/Mo farmer (Variant 1, quickest)
[card]Live Vicariously[/card][card]Balthazar's Spirit[/card][card]Avatar of Balthazar[/card][card]Vigorous Spirit[/card][card]Eternal Aura[/card][card]Mystic Vigor[/card][card]Faithful Intervention[/card][card]Mystic Regeneration[/card]
D/Mo farmer (Variant 2, somewhat similar)
[card]Live Vicariously[/card][card]Balthazar's Spirit[/card][card]Vow of Strength[/card][card]Vigorous Spirit[/card][card]Heart of Holy Flame[/card][card]Mystic Vigor[/card][card]Faithful Intervention[/card][card]Mystic Regeneration[/card]
Scythe: 10 +1 +3
Earth: 7 + 2
Mysticism: 10 +1
Healing Prayers: 9
(Might want to shift around with these, as they arent perfect, specially for V2, but they are enough tho )
Furthermore I have all Windwalker Insignias, which gives +20 armor. And 1 Major Vigor (Sup is preffered ofc) and 1 Vitae.
3-5 min run:
Cast the 3 everlasting enchantments (1,2,7). Cast Avatar. Run past first group to hill-outlook of the battlefield where group spawns. Cast Eternal Aura. Run past Oinks House. Kill the Hellhound, which spawns and aggros the massive group. Keep all enchantments up, especially Mystic Regen and Vigor Eternal Aura will do AoE Holy damage.
Avatar of Balthazar attacks and moves with 33% speed, but he also seems to cast with increased speed. So your attacks do holy dmg and you attack with 33% speed, which results in up to 320 per hit (x3). On average your hits will be around 200 tho.
If you go for Variant 2, which might be easier to get, you do more damage, but slower. Plus you have to keep more enchantments up.
If anyone needs screenshots of the run, let me know.

Here's my variation of the Gates of Kryta farm for the purpose of Orr Emblems and Trick or Treat Bags. Using a Major Scythe Rune, Major Mysticism Rune with headpiece, Minor Earth Rune. All Windwalker insignias.

Ditto on Saturday.
Admittedly... having seen just how fast they die in Normal Mode to the Mo/D, I started farming that for the Trick-or-Treat bags and Orr Emblems rather than the much slower Hard Mode.
Got a Black Dye on one of the runs too.... and always had at least one Orr Emblem per run. On several runs I had in excess of five of them.
But even that doesn't compare to the sheer awesomeness of all those deaths triggering the Unreal Tournament kill-sounds. It went from "Headshot!" to multiple strokes of "God-like!" in about 3 seconds...

For those of you still stuck not knowing how to farm hard mode and want the build ..105 m/d hard mode. Been doing it for ages for gold items it kills very fast but drops of emblems suck. Maybe 3 emblems a run but you get lockpicks and gold items and tomes.
For ToT bags I have noticed if I kill in like doa or UW or FOW. Higher areas monster drop more. And if you want more emblems just solo a few mobs at a time in normal you get more emblems than with AOE kills.
16 smite 10 Protection 11 divine 8 earth prayers
Protective Spirit
Mystic Regeneration
Shield of Absorption
Shielding Hands
Shield of Judgment
BALTHAZAR AURA
Blessed Aura
Balthazar's Spirit
