It didn't work for two reasons:- because the description values of these skills didn't seem proportional to their PvE rank, making implementation ugly,
- and because these values depend on a rank you can hardly choose, therefore making a range more useful to readers than a single rank adapted value.
Since writing this answer I found elegant formulas to make the implementation, I just did it ^^ Here is an example of what it looks like: http://gwshack.us/forums/viewtopic.php?t=14235

There is no cap. Or spoon. And I never thought ppl would have this much fun using unusual values ^^

Feel free to contribute by posting their names, their clean ingame icons on gwShack.us forums and they'll prolly be in next version :P Keep in mind it's a community effort!

By default it doesn't work on vBulletin forums. Feel free to change that (it's open source) and maybe will Inde accept to activate it.

It's free, available to all, open source. Visit gwBBCode forums for more details.

(Not working when I'm posting this, but surely will gwBBCode be updated soonish)
For skills which differ in PvE and PvP gameplays, you can specify the gameplay after the name or let the default gameplay be applied (on these forums, [gwbbcode gameplay]):
[pre][[Aegis (PvP)][/pre] => [[Aegis (PvP)]
[pre][[Aegis (PvE)][/pre] => [[Aegis (PvE)]
[pre][[Aegis][/pre] => [[Aegis]
And you can specify whether a build is PvE or PvP by adding either "pve" or "pvp" to the code:
[pre][build prof=W/E pve]["Watch Yourself!"][Blinding Surge][/build][/pre] =>
[build prof=W/E pve]["Watch Yourself!"][Blinding Surge][/build]
[pre][build prof=W/E pvp]["Watch Yourself!"][Blinding Surge][/build][/pre] =>
[build prof=W/E pvp]["Watch Yourself!"][Blinding Surge][/build]
For more information on the PvP/PvE icon showing under the copy template one: http://gwshack.us/forums/viewtopic.php?p=6304#6304

gwBBCode has not be re-implemented in the new forum design yet. Hopefully it'll be back up soon.

May sound stupid but are you sure you're spelling it (the skill name) correctly? Have you double-checked your formatting? Try starting with the full example and replacing the stuff you need to.

Related to Age's self-answered query above, how do you designate PvE/PvP when posting a full build?
Example: [pre][build=Heal;OAhjYghsoOYbMm0cyNMHnV1kL][/pre]
gives: [build=Heal;OAhjYghsoOYbMm0cyNMHnV1kL]
How can you make that PvE? (Not that it really matters, but you know...)
EDIT - nevermind, Liu Pi answered that on the previous page
Example: [pre][build=Heal pve;OAhjYghsoOYbMm0cyNMHnV1kL][/pre]
gives: [build=Heal pve;OAhjYghsoOYbMm0cyNMHnV1kL]

Heres a question:
How do you combine this:

with this:

Tip: Case doesn't matter here and all but 3 attribute names can be reduced to their first three letters, e.g axe=12 and pro=4. Specifying a few more letters doesn't hurt though: prot=9 and blood=8. The three exceptions to this rule are: dead for Deadly Arts since dea is for Death Magic; comma for Command since com is for Communing; earthp for Earth Prayers since ear is for Earth Magic.

I mean how do you put together a bar using template code and still define its attributes?
