Default what builds work again the peacekeepers

i've tried Discordway/Sabway and i still get wiped [on HM] sometimes by even one mob

does anyone have some hero builds that'd be good against them?

PS:I might not look at this for a couple of days, my IGN is Savier Tor

Are you rushing in at them thinking you'll just blow them up like any other mob in GW?

Better think again. You need more caution against those skill bars.

1) Run something better than Discord. Ignore the masses of stupid people who worship it. Note the comparison in this thread: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/d...t10434120.html

2) Post what build you're using. We can't help you if we don't know what you're doing.

Run spiritway. The damage > discord, especially when you bring proper support on the spirit spammers.

Discord on 3 necros works out to around 90 DPS on a single target. On the other hand, a warrior with a scythe can do 150 DPS unbuffed, area of effect damage. An assassin buffed with EbSoH, SoH, and Splinter Weapon can do over 500 DPS using a fast attack chain.

tl;dr: Math says discord is baed.

My suggestions is to form your own hero builds. Use what you have available, with a better synergy. Look into what foes and their skills you'll be facing, and build accordingly.

Generally speaking, preventing damage is far superior to just healing over it. With that being said, there are multiple ways to do this, and not by simply using monks or rits.

Some key skills: vs physical mobs - using weakness.(highly effective) Enfeebling Blood, "Save Yourselves!", Anthem of Weariness.
-Using blind. Unseen Fury, Ebon Dust Aura, Shadowsong.
or even using skills that don't condition the foe, like "Cant Touch This!"

Of course, bring cover conditions, or more spammable conditions to keep them on the enemy physicals.

Now about that pesky spell damage. Some favorite counters are to just bring armor buffs, to lower the damage taken, mainly through "Save yourself!", and possibly to have Ward Againced Elements.

There's way more, much larger list. You get the idea. But that said and done, it wont always protect you 100% of the time. This is where the healing/protecting backline comes into play. I'm not going into details about monk/rit/ele healing/prot builds, but change some skills to adapt with what the enemy is using.

Example, vs heavy hexes, maybe you want to bring Divert Hexes. If they are condition heavy, mabe you would want to bring Restore Conditions. Basically make it suit how much damage, and types of damage you will be dealing with(degeneration via hex/condition, spell spike, physical spike, range pressure ect...) beyond the normal team defenses.

Now that you hopefully have you and your heroes outfitted to survive, bring adamage type to suit your primary toon, i.e. Physicals, maybe more adrenaline based, with an adrenaline booster in the party using dark fury, or anthem of fury.

Basically the list goes on and on with variants upon variants. This isn't your standard MMO where you keep the same skill-set for the majority of the game so use it to your advantage! Take a couple extra minutes on tweaking you and your heroes before heading off to battle. I guarantee those two minutes of setup far outweighs the possible hours of frustration you may deal with using standardized wiki builds, expecting it to go perfectly.

Hopefully this post isn't too long for ya. but i do hope it will enhance your GW experiance, and not scare you off

Or you can mitigate damage with protection prayers, the attribute line entirely devoted to preventing damage. Look up the ER prot hero. Hexes in PvE tend to be pretty unthreatening. In fact, I've never brought hex removal for anything in PvE, including the elite areas. If you run physicals, put Foul Feast on the Minion Bomber to keep the frontline clean.

These guys like to rez like crazy. I've actually been very happy bringing a newly buffed mesmer hero to interrupt them into submission.

That is also something you can do, again there are numerous ways of doing just that. I'm not going to argue on which is better, every single build has its strengths and weaknesses, even full blown team builds.

But personally, I run hero/hench, and only bring 1 healer henchie, without any primary healing heroes. I rarely ever run into problems, mainly when I over-aggro, which happens to everyone sometimes. With minimal hex removal, It's basically there for emergencies.

Yeah, I like bringing my own ER prot because of the overkill healing and protection it provides. In fact, I often overaggro on purpose to speed things up, or because it's too easy/boring otherwise.

Note: I play as a human ER infuser, which allows me to bring heroes focused solely on damage. Maintaining 8 protective bonds while spamming infuse health makes for some gud PvE.

Depends whether you're fighting them in general or doing the Falken mini quest. I've found that discord is actually more useful for that due to lower recharge times and it's ability to constanty move forward.

This is what I use for the Peacekeepers on HardMode killing them without any difficulty

First,
I found the following newly buffed mesmer build to be more effective than 2 Discord Necros together:

(sorry for not posting in template)

Mesmer/Monk
Domination 12
Inspiration 10
Fast Casting 6
Smiting 6
Panic; Waste not, Want Not; Empathy; Mistrust; Overload; Smite Condition; Drain Enchantment; Shatter Delusions

Bringing you a balance between DPS and support as well as 2 slots for other hero's you can bring.

I bring a Bone MINIONmaster with Splinter Weapon, Signet of Spirits and Death Nova as well for my second hero.

My third hero is all about protection, A Rit/Monk with questionable abilities but it does the trick for me.

As a warrior, I walk the Knockdown road for these guys. With "you Move like a Dwarf" I cancel a lot of Rezzes. But feel free to play around (you are not all warriors and not all of you like Knocking foes down)

Just to give you some ideas what you could use, and it's better than Discord/Sabway for this area.

Discord works. Of course, it's PvE. Take 7 Healing Hands W/Mo's with an ER buffing, protting, and healing them and it'll work. Actually, I think that would do more damage than a 2 man discord.

The numbers just don't agree with discord. 3 necromancers to equal the damage output of 1 (unbuffed) good warrior? No thanks. Also, the bars in discordway are ridiculously gimped because of the need to fit hexes, conditions, damage, and healing. Four attribute spreads are baed.

Spiritway is probably one of the best (in terms of effectiveness and laziness) builds at the moment.

http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Build:Team_-_Hero_Spiritway

The strength is in that you can run it with literally any bar. I like AoTL as my necro's elite, but some people like Jagged.

Been running this and peacepanzies just blew up. Sp either use that or use this as a reference for building a Spiritway of your own liking. But you should generally stick with Spirits imho.
