Mesmer... mostly cause you will rarely get accepted in PUGs and easiest and fastest way to do it is with H/H, not counting players you already know of course :-)

Explain this really fast
All primaries to complete ..missing out side quests
simple answer really.
WHY the really fast as curious as...Do you not wish to play the game as it should be played?
The game is ment to be enjoyable if you wish to skip as much of it as possible
why do you play it?

Assassin. MS/DB everything and you will be done in no time. Consider warrior and elementalist too.

The profession does not matter to much. Just don't start in Prophecies. Start in Factions play till Kaineng, get your three Necros. 3 Necros > PvE. That's it.

Regardless of OP's reasons for wanting to finish real fast, I would say a Para would pretty much blaze through the 3 campaigns and EotN with no problem with a high enough kurzick title.

Well, the guy probably wanted to know something impossible, simply cause all professions are equally fast if you know how to play them.
But I still stand by my opinion that getting a friend to help or just doing H/H is the faster that getting into a PUG. W/R with Power Shot ftw!
P.S. Oh, people started seriously answering this thread... Brb, just need some popcorn.

I would say elementalist if you want to play the game straight through like it was intended. There is usually room for two or perhaps even 3 nukers in a party because they are a great main damage source.
On the other hand, I recommend dervish, assassin, or even w/mo if you only have prophecies, if you want to be able to run yourself through the game.
And for farming the monk is the best.

Highlander, seeing as he's playing a bit shorter then you he probably is just bored (like most) of doing the same thing over and over and just wants to get trough it to the enjoyable parts.
As for easy vs fast, thats a different thing. Easy is making an imbagon and using sabway h/h. Just keep SY up and watch things drop.
Fast is all about composition. Due to a lot of walking in this game, bringing speed buffs like charge/fall back will speed up the game a lot. This benefits w/p, p/w or /p or /w characters. Rest just depends on your damage source preference; high single target damage (bosses, harder foes) or aoe damage (groups, large groups, bad pulls)

Since your planning to do titles, paragon if you plan to have no people helping, ele or necro if you will have people along for the harder parts.

Fastest whilst still be easy would be warrior IMO - consider a Necro MM if you want to pawn PVE and have an easy time of it (almost all areas), but they won't be as fast due to the trouble in controlling aggro - Paragon is a cakewalk too if you have the right build.
All professions are valid - but for what you want I'd do warrior.

i agree that h/h is the fastest with any profession really, but there are some mission that you would probably rather have a team (eternal grove, but i've done it h/h just easier with team imo) so i'd say elementalist or monk because you can easily get a group

Run a Mesmer, put loads of extremely long casting spells at 16 Fast Casting on your bar and headbutt your keyboard.
16 Fast Casting
15 Illusion Magic
3 Deadly Arts
Dancing Daggers
Mind Bender
Deadly Paradox
Signet of Illusions
Deadly Haste
Nothing
Nothing
Nothing

who are you agreeing with? h/h may be faster than pugs but it's certainly not the fastest way. protip: coordinated 8-player teams

fastest profession is paragon. chain charge and fall back with 3 of your highest damage heroes. oh and dont take a MM because they slow you down (unless you are having problems surviving which you shouldnt in NM)

Within any coordinated team, there are still gonna be afk'ers or error 7 ppl... But mostly, it's that's it's highly unlikely you'll find 8 coordinated ppl for general play, it's mostly reserved for elite areas and HM missions.
Getting a friend and going 2 ppl, 6 heroes is probably the best way... but if you don't have any on, H/H is the fastest.
Oh wait, why the hell am I writing all of this, PUG does in no way mean "coordinated 8-player team".

paragon. having an imbagon means you get to take at least 6 full-offensive team members. that's fast.

If this game is like WoW where majority of play is done 1v1 style, then it'd be easy to say which profession is the fastest. However, GW is very much a team game. Since how fast you complete an area depends on your team's build compatibility, the builds of the enemies you'll be facing (though in majority of the areas, enemies have brain dead builds that you can just plow through with whatever...), the armor level of the enemies you'll be facing, etc. that you can't really say which profession is the fastest.
