Team damage stacking question
Can the following stack for damage in PVE (if I had the following team pumping up the rangers)
1 Ranger [barrage] [splinter weapon] [“I am the Strongest] [asuran scan] [favorable winds]
1 Ranger [barrage] [splinter weapon] [“I am the Strongest] [asuran scan] [winnowing]
1 Monk or Necro Prot build with balance in smite for [strength and honor] [Great Dwarf Weapon] [ebon battle standard of courage]
1 Monk or Necro Heal build with balance in smite for [strength and honor] [Great Dwarf Weapon] [ebon battle standard of honor]
1 Paragon running the [“Save yourselves”]
1 Necro /ranger running [Blood is power] [Edge of Extinction] BIP is for one ranger to keep them flowing with energy
1 Necro / Elementalist [Blood is power] BIP is for one ranger to keep them flowing with energy Water skills to slow foes (deep freeze etc…)
1 Obsidian Tank warrior to grab as much agro as possible or Shadow form sin
All stay in the “standard” circle of coverage except the tank

Splinter Weapon and Great Dwarf Weapon can't stack, only 1 weapon skill at a time takes effect. Otherwise it all works together. Also 2 BiP necros is stupid, one should be an Assassin's promise curser and the other should have orders + the monks pve skills (or it can spec into splinter weapon). Furthermore its stupid to use both a tank and SY, if you use one you don't need the other. Another ranger would do fine. I also wouldn't recommend using spirits, with all the buffs you have the damage increase wont be worth the time spent casting them.

pretty much all meth said, looks good, wont need a tank and an SY, the whole point of SY is to provde huge protection for your whole team.

Strength of Honor is melee-only. Drop it.
What Meth said.
Bring Orders.
I know that has been said already, but it bears repeating, epecially if you have Necros with points in Blood.

Wouldnt it be better to go for something along the lines of the old 5 x barrage/pet rangers, 1 MM necro, 1 orders necro and a monk?
Sure you might want to put in extra stuff for more damage. Like you can pehaps change out a ranger with some Curse support (stuff like Barbs, mark of pain, Enfeeble blood, and pehaps some prots to help the monk. (Tho the orders of MM nec might be able to bring some of the most usefull curses)
Btw is the damage from splinter weapon worth it on a ranger, compared to just using another barrage? Also considering you have to use alot of attribs in channeling to get that damage.

Well, I would go for:
2 Rangers with barrage with ebon vanguard ward, Asuran Scan, Triple Shot. The second ranger can swap the ward for by ural's hammer or ebon vanguard assassin or something.
1 Paragon with SY build.
1 Necromancer with AP + curse skills. You can fit in orders but its not as important as the curses. Have foul feast to get conditions off.
1 Ritualist with max channeling for splinter weapon with the rest in restoration.
1 Monk as WoH prot/heal hybrid. Bring expel hexes if in hex heavy areas.
2 wild card slots. Another Ranger, a MM, just about anything adding damage works well. Physical Damage is preferred since it gets buffed from the curses.
Splinter Weapon + Mark of Pain can synergize incredibly. It will be your main nuke. If you can hit 5 enemies at once (unlikely but its fun to fantasize), you get something along a 500-600 Damage AoE armor ignoring nuke. Thats for _each_ ranger. Triple Shot + Asuran Scan + buffs can let the rangers still do something around 200 damage spikes on individual targets that aren't near groups.
You have SY + Necromancer/ monk who can completely clean the paragon of conditions + hexes, meaning SY will never go down. On top of that you have the monk and the rit healing, so nothing can really take you down.
If you want to make it ridiculous, since you have a SY you can exploit the fact that people can stand inside each other in PvE so that all enemies are grouped ontop of you in a tank-and-spank type strategy. Instant death.
