Urgoz Suggestion
Hey, myself and my guildies have been trying to take down Urgoz for the past couple weeks, and we've basically hit the wall. We can get to him no problem now, we've learned how to do it pretty effeciently, however since it's just 4 of us and heroes, we havn't been able to take down urgoz once we make it to him. If anyone could give any suggestions/build/advice for him, it would be much appriciated.
The warm bodies to consider are a Warrior tank (me), Heal monk, Ele, and Mesmer. Heroes are 2 MMs (jagged bones and flesh golem), prot monk, 2 N/rt (curser and healer), Warrior, dervish, elementalist. Open to suggestions.
Heroes don't seem to function well in the end fight, due to all the explosive guys, if anyone can come up with a viable build for myself, the mesmer, and the ele that can take him down, that would be super!

You need one toon with EoE, as high a level as you can make it. Poop EoE on the floor left of the door you come in at just outside the range of the exploders. Everybody else attacks Urgoz until his health is below 90% (allowing EoE to work) and then just run around him like crazy people spawning exploders. Each time an exploder dies, EoE plinks Urgoz.

I did with 2 friends and 9 heroes ^^
You will find the following strategy everywhere in GW website: Urgoz is killed by Edge of Estinction.
Urgoz is a plant, and also the growths are plants, so when they die Urgoz takes damage from EoE, provided that his health is below 90%.
So take a R/X or X/R with 10-11 beastmastery, when you arrive to Urgoz place the EoE spirit behind a rock in the east (or south?) door, make sure Urgoz is in the range of the spirit, then attack him until his hp drops below 90% and run around the room so that growths pop-up.
Bring some skills to block Urgoz's arrows, put some pressure on Urgoz and -most important- renew the EoE spirit when it dies.
With this strategy, Urgoz will die in 10 mis or less.

kk, wasn't sure if EoE would trigger if we didn't kill them, but just let them 'die'. So by the left door, do you mean the northmost? Havn't been able to find a clear answer as to where exactly to flag the hero with EoE.

Haven't been there in awhile so I've forgotten which end is north, but it's the door that's on your left right when you walk into Urgoz's room. You have to roll down the ramp and pull a big U-turn to the left. There's a fairly spacious flat area there before the door. Just flag the EoE dude on that area as close as you can to Urgoz without spawning any growths.

Does anyone have a decent ranger build (for hero) that does decent damage and utilizes beast mastery so we don't have to nerf any of our current builds to add in a bit of beast mastery for EoE
