Favourite Class
Hi.
I`d like to know your opinions about character classes.
Which of them give you most fun?
Which is most interesting?
Im not asking which class is strongest, best for farming or something like that. Everyone need to own many characters for different purposes, but also everyone have that one character which they play most, couse its fun, they dont ever get bored and which you can just stand in one place and /jump and its still fun ;p
So, which class you enjoy most?
thx ;]
@Edit.
I would appreciate if you write some more than "%profession%".
Please write what you love in ur char and why, otherwise mod will close his thread ;p

My favorite are the Necros. There's something very satisfying about raising an army of undead minions or sacrificing a bit of health to keep your team alive while maintaining enough energy to cast some minor damage-dealing spells.
If you learn to work with their skills they're excellent mid-line characters, and that's right where I like to be. Plus it's something different from the usual tank/mage/ranger/monk group of heroes.

So far my ranger has been my favorite and the most fun to play. I created her just to see what a ranger would be like, and I figured I'd end up deleting her, but she's my hands down favorite, especially when I play her as an interrupt ranger.
It so much fun when you have a good interrupt build and you get on this roll and you're interrupting the crap out of the enemy's monk or big AOE caster and you're just shutting everyone down and all the other enemies that count on their monk are dropping like flies. It's like, let it fly... interrupt. Let it fly... interrupt. Broad head arrow... interrupt. And it's more than button mashing, you have to assess what's ahead, pay attention, pick your target, watch its spell bar, have a good set of bows ready to switch at the blink of an eye and just time your interrupts.
I love my eles, and I adore my necro, but my ranger, wow. I'd love to learn AB on her, but don't know where to start.

Assassin, Warrior running a close second - both for PvP and PvE.
What's the purpose of this thread?

IDK, maybe they want to make another character and thinking about the options so they're asking what other people find fun? **shrugs**

My fav prof and also to Faylnn
I love love love love LOVE my war, he's just GREAT all around, first char I ever made and i can't stop playin him, he's got 2 whole sections in my inv for just his armors, gotta love em all, and the sword/axe/hammer versatility is unmatched by any other profession. I can go heavy damage, KD maniac, condition spammer, basically anything I want.
Also for Faylnn, i love my ranger also and they are really great for ABing. Basiaclly you can switch from any of the bow mastery elites, and some people go incendiary, but just bring a crippling skill and something like natural stride and your set with w/e skill set you choose, although in AB id tend to shy away from BH arrow just bc of its recharge time, going with punishing or magebane, and more along those lines. Then i always bring apply poison bc i love to kite and poison foes while we are running around without our teams, makes em soooooo angry anyway rangers are great for ab so thats just the basics and you can mod your build however you like, lately I've been using barbed+poison sig+ crip shot for an unblockable condition spam.
So have fun and remember wars are the best WOOOt

1. Dervish
Melee/Caster hybrid (my fav used to be my ele), untouchable scythe damage, and avatars
2. Ele
used to be my main, normally I'm a caster in MMO's because I like backlining
3. Paragon
The concept of a midliner that provides largely unstrippable party-wide buffs that can also do decent damage is uber by nature.
4. Assassins
5. Rits
6. Rangers
7. Necro
8. Monk -watching little red bars go down and up is not gameplay
9. Mesmer
10. Warrior -hack slash, hack slash, ADRENALINE HACK does not make for an interesting time
