Lag spikes!!
ok not sure if this is the right place to post, but this is where the eyes go so i post here.
For the last week players acros North america have experienced Huge team wide lag spikes causing party wipes in pve and pvp.
and i mean an unusualy large amount of lag spikes.I understand players lag out sometimes or your connection fluxuates, but i see a server problem that cant syncronize the connections of teamplayers on a massive scale. I NEVER lag out untill last week. Sometimes i would get laggy but never err 7 and have to reconnect.just tonight i was in uw and all the team got several lag spikes causeing us to fail the entire run once... had several more in FoW and got griffons killed because of it... and i mean the whole team just stops.. 2 or 3 pple have to re connect and we are fine for 10 minutes then BAM...the team lags out again.
I know anet lieks to say its our computers or our settings or our isp...its not the settings or isp.Guild wars runs fine until all of a sudden this last week i see entire teams lose hall of heros from it. lose gvg matches from it. waay more than usual.
However.. wehn it happens accros the world, and people the never lag out suddenly lag out 4 times in on hour.... its not us. its A-net.
so what are they doing aobut this?? why is it happeneing?
comunity needs some feedback here...I dont dare go pvp. unless i know i can at least stay connected.
it raises issues about Guild Wars 2. Whats gonna be different about this lag problem? since anet has been neglegent in adressing this problem (as it has gone on for a week now)and comunicating it to the public, it makes me wonder if guild wars 2 will have the same problems. why buy it if thier sever is not maintained properly?
i saw no notes on scheduled maitenence... nor does it take a week to do maintenence on any particular area.
I know for a fact that i am not the only one effected by this sudden lag.
i know several entire teams that were wiped at the same times as my teams were and saw them complaining in Ad 1.
some feedback and repairs to the problem from A-Net would be appreciated.
