Real team build for UW
Hey, maby im asking for something impossible or smth, but i have used search but cant find anything on here or on pvx (lol). I have been looking for a balanced teambuild for UW, dont get me wrong im not looking for any farm build and im not looking for just a SF tank and a lot of cryers, im looking for a decent teambuild for a guildrun im preparing. I apriciate all help i can get and im looking for a fun time for my guild. We arent unexperianced ppl or anything most of us have done UW sc and some solo but we are looking for a balanced build that can let in most proffessions.
Thank you very much

yeah would be a good idea to see something that a guild can run for fun, rather than simply to farm as much as quickly as can be done.
but, alas, I have no such suggestions.
hopefully some other kind souled guru user has come across something for you.

2 Monks
2 Warriors / Assassins / Dervish
2-3 Eles / Mesmers / Necros
1-2 Rits / Paragons
A Ranger can assume a role in the second or third section.

So I Herd Ursan Blessing Was Strong.
However, if you wish for a build:
2x W/D Strong Scythe
Warriors endurance + scythe attacks and melee strength skills such as protectors strike and power attack (so I herd you liek 140 spamable attacks) is amazing, so is 100AL vs Physical, your monks may cry in joy.
2x Fire Eles
Nuke. Lol. Kill. Repeat.
1x P/W Imbagon
In my opinion, run this or you are seriously impeading your ability to rape face and survive. We like face rape.
1x Rt/?
So, I heard splinter/ancestors rage was strong. EDIT Yes, Resto is a bloody good idea, Weapon of Warding for un-removable block (I know this isn't HA, but super lame unstoppable defence is amazing anywhere imo.)
You may want to throw on Caretakers Charge (+PwK and consequently, Soothing memories for the most amazing 2 energy heal in the game)
2x Monk Backline
Just don't suck, this part is all up to skill. Rolling your face on the keyboard to push up red bars, is contrary to popular belief, not good.

what was said above, note that you need to have resto on the rit bar for four horsemen since you have to split and the imbagon can only be on one side.

just run a frontline, a midline and a backline. why would you need a team build for that?

2 Mo/X
Key Skills on both lines, [Protective Spirit]
Maybe just for aataxe though...
or when it comes in for dryders/4H
1 Main Solid Tank
meaning some [Defy Pain] or what not, but you got what I mean, sit there look pretty and try to stack your def. ability up ^^
8 skills go far.
1 DPS Sin/Derv/War
Choose one
Sin - Idk anything helpful too be bloody honest, im not a sin person.
War - In my last "lol UW" run on NM for fun, our DPS ran [Hundred Blades] and it got us far.
Derv - w/e floats.
2 Ele [Searing Flames] nukers?
x.x thats what we had.
1 Imbagon
1 Resto Rit
was amazing fun
did UW in 53min on NM with only usage of clerity since we "magically" found one

In my opinion there are only two things that are absolutely required for a complete normal mode UW run: Healing/prot (monk or rit), and something to deal with the Chaos plains (a tank sort of character for the four horsemen quest).
Other than that the make up of the party really isn't that big of a deal. Some characters might make it easier (i.e. imbagon) but they aren't necessary to finish it. You have a lot of wiggle room as far as builds go in normal mode.
Hard mode can be a different beast. You still need the healing/prot and the tankish character for Chaos planes. But you also really should be packing solid bars on your other characters. Solid DPS, energy management and team work (by this i mean knowing your character role- tanks should be, well, tanking and casters, you guessed it, casting. Also listening to the leader) will make it a lot of fun.
When my guild runs around UW we usually run:
2x Heal/Prot Hybrid monks
2x Searing Flames or Searing Heat Eles
1-2x Tanks (warrior, obi flesh ele, permasin or some such depends what is available and what we want to accomplish)
1x Domination Mesmer
1-2x optional- necro (SS, SV, MM), Ranger (mostly splinter barrage), or whomever else would like to hop along.

I would go for:
1 Warrior - Earth Shaker
1 Paragon - Imbagon
1 Paragon - Expel Hexes w/ TNTF!
1 Rt - Offering of Spirit w/ Splinter + Resto etc
1 Ranger - BHA Epidemic
1 Necro - Curses (eg, SS, Barbs, Enfeebling Blood etc)
1 Monk - HB
1 Monk - WoH or some other prot build (maybe RC or Life Sheath)
Thats what I'd run if I were to try balanced. Swap out either the ranger, expel para, necro or rt for a tank if you want to go that way, I always think that if the earth shaker is good at holding agro then it shouldnt be too much of a problem without one.
