GW:EN skills = Superb Interruption?
Now that the GW:EN skills are available for us to play with, I looked at a few of them, and found one I thought was rather interesting.
[skill]Way of the Warrior[/skill]
This gave me another idea... a possible interrupter build, taking advantage of this skill.
[skill]Needling Shot[/skill][skill]Keen Arrow[/skill][skill]Disrupting Accuracy[/skill][skill]Critical Eye[/skill][skill]Way of the Warrior[/skill][skill]Way of the Assassin[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill]
And possibly [skill]way of perfection[/skill] in the last slot. Also considering substituting [skill]Savage Shot[/skill] or possibly even [skill]Disrupting shot[/skill] in Needling Arrow's place (I chose Needling because of the faster-than-normal activation time and relatively low recharge time).
12+1+3 Critical Strikes
10 Marksmanship
8+2 Shadow Arts
With a full Survivor's set, a Sup Vigor rune, a Sup Critical Strikes rune, a Maj Shadow Arts rune, and two runes of Vitae, I manage to bring my HP up to the default 480. A Bow of Enchanting, possibly Zealous (though I'm not sure how necessary that will be with the amount of criticals being inflicted), with a "Damage +15% while enchanted" inscription... I'm thinking this might have promise (unlike my boneheaded warrior build).
Also: No support for the GW:EN skill icons yet?
EDIT: Perhaps [skill]Called Shot[/skill] instead of Needling?

I thought up the same build. I find energy is no problem so i go with a brains over brawns iscription and use a sundering bow of fortitude with radiant runes in my armour. You could also use favorable winds for regular attacks and keen arrow to reach the target faster, could also go with sharpen daggers to spread bleeding perhaps.
As for PvE you could use called shot in places that will have a lot of enemies that have evasion stances, and needling shot in other places not so heavy with evaison stances. I'm not big on PvP but i think this could be a good PvP build because of the mass interupts. I just hope it doesnt get nerfed because it is such a fun build to use lol.

definately add in way of perfection for some pretty insane healing i think. and then definately add in critical defenses for perma 75% block. i'd drop critical eye i think we are in the overkill zone for critical strikes and energy is going to be very plentiful. use a shortbow.
i think this would be a really fun pve build. not so sure about pvp but it has the capability of being a pressurer with the added benefit that you are really hard to kill.
oh and in pve, id switch out critical defenses for critical agility.

There are far better things for an assassin to do than hopefully interrupt every hit every 2-2.4 seconds... i'd much rather take a BHA or a proper interrupt Ranger.

Well i just thought with a 100% chance to get a critical every time you hit would renew critical defenses and critical agility. So if you put scourge enchantment on that guy and he uses dual shot thats about 200 dmg right there=shutdown

Won't work, Scourge Enchantment is "target based", that means that only enchantment spells that can be cast on allies will trigger it ( most monk prot skills etc. ) Order for instance won't trigger it I believe. Tainted Flesh would...you see what I mean?

Ya I think this build does seem limited in PvP. But I still think it would work well in PvE because of the perma 33% +attack speed from critical agility and the tons of energy return. i would find a way to fit in critical defenses and way of perfection too. i dont know if a normal interrupt ranger could do all that - perma ias, perma block, perma heal, i doubt it. i guess you guys have rapid fire now but the 2 sec cast is kinda ugly. anyways, keen arrow is going to do about 83 damage with a 6 sec recharge. a nice attack.
edit: oh the attack speed on a short bow is 2.0. How fast is that with the 33% IAS I never can remember how to calculate that. Just looked it up on wiki, 1.33 per sec. Slightly better than every 2 - 2.4 sec

Enchantments that reapply themselves may have a different affect than what you think. (By the way Orders would trigger scourge enchantment the same way that heal party triggers scourge healing)

Scourge Healing doesn't say it needs to be targeted.

Sounds.... in theory.... like it should work rather well.
On the flipside... so does playing an Assassin normally... which IMHO is much more fun.
The real question is whether Zenmai can use it correctly or not.

It's my understanding that Zenmai uses everything except daggers decently well.
Give her a spear, a shield, Critical Defenses, and let her go to work.
