I just capped Discord and I thought it used to read that it was a 1sec cast time, but I just read someone that it was nerfed to a 2sec cast time. Also, I thought I read before (maybe I'm wrong) that it only had 1 condition (hex or condition) in order to work, but now I read it requires a condition and/or hex/enchantment to be applied.

Anyway, for some time I thought this would be a really cool elite. Not only did it look like it could do a fair amount of damage, but it's nice to have something else in Death not related to the MM line. So is this elite worth much since it is a 2sec cast time now and both a condition and/or hex/enchantment must be on target? I'm sure I'll still try it out and see for myself, but I just was curious if many people used this and what skills they used to compliment it.

it's very good on heroes.
it requires a team build (hex spammer, condition spammer)
but it's a damn good damage output in one skill.
so yeah it's worth using it

Yeah, I guess I see what you mean by team build. I just used it in FOW and because I was setting up Parasitic Bond>Enfeeble>Discord I wasn't really able to get many more than 1-2 Discords off on an enemy before they fell. Perhaps if someone else was laying the condition and hex it would help out a little more. Still, I found the 2sec cast time very frustrating at times because many times I'd be trying to cast my 2nd or 3rd Discord and the enemy would die just before I finished casting it. I like the damage, but it isn't quite as spammable as I'd hoped for. I guess even getting 2 Discords off isn't all that bad. Running 16 in Death the Discord damage does -115 so getting off 2 of them is -230 damage in less than 10sec. Not too bad I guess.

The reason Discord kinda sucks these days is it's outclassed by Necrosis by far.

Necrosis does look cool, but unfortunately I don't have Nightfall yet and I'm not the type of player to spend the time to invest a lot to get Sunspear levels up much. Nevertheless, Necrosis does look fun to use.
