The Fastest way to farm smites
i have seen countless builds on farming smite crawlers for ecto and have tryed a few but I am wondering which one is the fastest. So if anyone cares or there is already a thread that gets into this subject then could someone tell me. If this is the first thread than if people could list the builds and add the times then together we can find a faster way to getting those magical globs...

Rt/W, no doubt.
the fastest smite farmer i know is definitely thwe Rt/W build with Glad's defense and Channeling Magic. it tears through grasps and smites ridiculously fast.

for just smites? the E/Me build used to be fast. I haven't farmed there in a couple of months so don't know if it still has the same speed. a full smite run took a little over 10 minutes before.

A/E is nice, mainly because it works very fast compared to all the other builds and the Elite you need for it is very early in Factions (Dragon's Throat Mission)

Never timed my E/Me run before... knew it was pretty fast... just did it in 13:43. And there were at least 2 places where I could have been faster. FWIW...

I used to do E/Me runs before the nerf, I think my fastest run was around 9 minutes.

The only problem with rit/war is the run 2 smites (bladed/lags) and posssibly not being interupted by grasping.
However ancesters rage is only 5 energy I think so nrg should b easier keeping.

Well, I used to do E/Me smite runs, and I could usually get the run done in about 10 minutes, sometimes faster depending on lag.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your meaning but ancester's rage is only 5 energy.
Plus, the run past the aatxe's is fine so long as you don't start it after they've charged at the door that was just opened by "clear the chamber". I use this build and once you get used to it you can practically do it in your sleep.
BTW, the build I use is OAGjINVsIPdF6CeRp4NxYBAhJA.... it has disciplined stance, that's the only atypical aspect. I got that stance so I could put it on and healsig while the smites finish gathering into adjacent range, but it also helps you glide past the last pair of Aatxes (cuz otherwise they might wail on you before it's time to activate sprint; since activating sprint too ealy may result in them following you into the smite area... which is not fun! ).
Edit: The graspings seem to never interrupt me. Maybe they're trying to interrupt my Glad's Defense? lol Anyway, I find the Rt/W build to be fun and effective so I definitely recommend it.

Hi ..
does any of these builds work in HM ?!
or any other solo build for that matter ... I'm bored from dual smiting and feeling a bit cheap ... is there a solo build that can do the smite run in HM?
Thanks in advance.

smite only runs in HM are impossible at this time, and imo will remain that way.
bladed attaxe have close to a 50% speed boost in HM, and you can take maybe 2 hits, maybe 3 if your a warrior
so stick to NM, or run duos to do attaxe + smites or whatever

smite ONLY runs are definitely impossible HM style, but a 330 rit or 55 necro can clear aatxes, grasps and smites. i prefer the 55 necro because it has no trouble with grasps, but a 330 rit is really fast and efficient in HM.
