Talking THE Simple fact for asking for your build!

Quote:
Ok Im a monk-thank you very much-But ppl think ok if the monk doesnt heal me all the time then I will kick that monk out...and for a "bad" Build. What am I suppose to do? I dont play it alot.
But heres what I think(and its from experiance)
Factions.

I was doing closer to the stars, and I had -lvl 20
These skills

Green is attack,Yellow is heal, red is rez.

These skills were crap and I still did closer to the stars,if any of them known my skills they would kick me out in a secound. At the end I showed them my skills and they were lik oh my god! So it doesnt matter what skills right?

Just because Guild Wars is easy at first doesn't mean a build that terrible is good.

It just means that you were less of a contributing factor to the team's success than you could have been. Or, to be brutally honest: you didn't do closer to the stars; you let some other people do it for you.

I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but you knew you were running a substandard build--your OP confirms it, rather smugly tbh--and you still rolled it. I feel more sorry for the people who dragged you through that mission.

Hero/hench can do Factions missions with one player in NM and get Masters in all of them. If you want to see some bad builds, look at what the henchmen run. Then again, your team didn't take a henchman in your place. They took you.

PS: monks can do some pretty good damage, but they are best at healing and protecting their team. There are actually some pretty good monk smite builds today if yuo want to be offensive (and pretty lousy ones if you want to be defensive). Try some sin spikes with Strength and Honor if you want to be a fighting monk in Factions. The sin teleports will let you zap in, get a kill, then recall/return to the backline to let the monks (or rits or paragons; even a derv build or two) heal you up.

6 Attributes. GG.

Sooooo, you basically do crappy damage with a limited ability to heal as well as three pips of regen while using costly elementalist skills.

Your a necessity to every party.

I'm not against monks that don't heal, but monks without common sense and a horribad build makes me rage pugs.

Even without water magic or prot prayers (meaning deep freeze is just an energy sink), you're speccing into divine favor, healing prayers, fire magic, and earth magic. Your skills have no synergy and you have no energy management, which means you'll be spamming "My energy is 0 of 70" since you only play on your high set with 1 energy regen.

A skilled player could take that build and beat the entire factions campaign, sure. But he could've also been a lot more efficient and faster if he took a better build.

i got to tell you i think what you did is great screw everyone else
im a good monk a very good monk ill admit it im not trying to come across the wrong way ive been playing this game for a very long time and i am a pretty smart guy when it comes to games and most of the builds in this game are all pretty much just common sense
but i have to admit i get really pissed when people ask me to ping my builds in gmae especially if they arent leader and if its for anything othre then some difficult mission
i mean i know they dont know me and know that im not stupid but still i take it as kinda disrespectful but thats just me of course i would never run anything like that though lol

however i do have admit out of a lot of the builds ive seen people ping it is pretty sad how many people in this game are just really not that smart i mean like i said above 90% of the builds that are good in this game are just pure common sense it is amazing how some people run some of the most retarded builds ive ever seen and think they are the best.
