I just hit level 20 on my assassin and I've tryed to ascend about 4 or 5 time and no luck at ALL. Anybody have any idea I only have ele as my second profession. I've used diff build on em i only have 2 elites: Palm Strike, and Shadow Form.

If you mean Naphui Quarter, clear all the Tengu then go back to kill the Celestials, you won't get master's, but it will be alot easier.
If you mean the Doppelganger, take Shadow Form and Expunge Enchantments, don't use SF, and when the Doppel does, Expunge it, then C-Space him to death.

I mean the doppelganger The thing is he wont use shadow form.. he just owns me with his attack skills

You need to get his health down before he'll use it. You could try this:
[skill]deadly paradox[/skill][skill]shadow form[/skill][skill]jagged strike[/skill][skill]wild strike[/skill][skill]death blossom[/skill][skill]expunge enchantments[/skill]
Don't use Deadly Paradox yourself, and the Doppelganger will disable his own skills with it. Use the chain in order repeatedly untill he activates Shadow Form, then use Expunge and finish him.
If survival is still a problem, take any enchantment that won't have an effect, such as Aura of Restoration. The Doppelganger will Expunge that, then you can use SF to stay alive.

if you just hit level 20 make sure you have done both 15-attribute point quests. and try capping flashing blades, its the only decent early-game assassin elite, and itll keep you alive pretty well.

I just used really basic attacks when I ascended. My A/Mo didn't use any elites as I recall.

As an A/E, do you have Feign Neutrality? If so bring that, if he attacks, he losses FN, if not, chain your attacks to out damage his healing.

Otherwise, go pure ele. I think the doppleganger has attribues only in primary profession (but I could be wrong). Don't use things like Firestorm, he'll just run away from it.

Crtical Defenses/Shadow Refuge/Critical Strike/golden phoenix. Works good..

Err..these two have worked for me:

Normal Mode
Dagger Mastery 12(+1, +1)
Critical Strikes 12

Vamp daggers...no skills whatsoever. Doesn't look like the Doppleganger is capable of doublestriking with that axe.

(Locust Fury would help..but..it's not necessary.)

Hard Mode
Shadow Arts 12(+1, +3)
Deadly Arts 12(+1)

Skills:
[skill]Deadly Paradox[/skill]
[skill]Shadow Form[/skill]
[skill]Augury of Death[/skill]
[skill]Dancing Daggers[/skill]
[skill]Entangling Asp[/skill]
[skill]Signet of Toxic Shock[/skill]
Deadly Paradox(Keep it on you)-->Shadow Form-->Spam Dancing Daggers till he's near half health-->Entangling Asp-->Toxic Shock-->Dancing Daggers.

Usually dead before he can use Shadow Form. But..if he does..one more Toxic Shock should be enough to finish him off.

if you can profession swap to A/R (Factions ascension) the easiest way is to pack apply poison, a bow, and a bunch of spirits. Just cast apply before you go in and keep him poisoned as he spams spirits.
