Default Crude Axe Farm (Cantha Version)

Hello, I am still new at posting farming builds, so I might leave out some important details.

This is a HM 55 Necro build.

Armor:
15 AL Armor
All Sup Runes
Radiant Insig (Makes it easier)

Weps:
Any +5 Energy 20% Ench sword or axe
-50hp Cesta

Skills:
Protective Spirit
Healing Breeze
Spirit Bond
Insidious Parasite
Spoil Victor (Spiteful Spirit might work, never tested how fast it is)
Balthazar's Spirit
Essence Bond
Mending

Attributes:
16 Blood
4 Soul Reaping
10 Curse
8 Healing
8 Prot

Exit from Tsumei Village into Panjiang Peninsula. Cast your enchantments.
Follow this map:
You will come to a cave where you will farm naga. There is a group of kappa near by, you can kill them if you want. The farm a really easy, just keep Prot Spirit and Healing Breeze on at all times. There is a big group at the beginning, with Spirit Bond, u can aggro them all, choose 1 target and cast SV. Use IP on a warrior naga to help with health. Sometimes a naga doesnt die from SV because his health gets lower then yours. Use IP when this happens. You can keep farming the kappa if you like was they also drop crude axes.

If you are lucky, a Crude Axe might drop. The warrior naga normally wield the Sunqua Blade. Sometimes they wield an axe. Most of the time (not always) the axe they wield will be the drop. Being gold is not for sure.

List of wielded Axes:
Mammoth Axe
Cleaver
Crude Axe
Hand Axe
War Axe
Spiked Axe

In this picture:

The naga was holding the crude axe. As you can see it is a purple. I have gotten a gold before.

Possible drops:
Mammoth Axe
Cleaver
Hand Axe
Crude Axe
Sunqua Blade
Tomes
Rare Materials (Monstrous Claws, Fangs and Eyes) Selling for about 400g each at rare material merchant
Serpent Axe

This run takes about 10 minutes to do and I have gotten 600g-1k per run.

I have done this farm for a long time now, I have only gotten 3 Crude Axe (1 Perfect, 1 14% -5energy and a purple), but I have gotten lots of gold Sunqua Blades, Hands Axes and Cleavers. Mammoth Axes seem to be pretty rare.

Note: If you want to still farm crude axes and farm an elite monk tome, you should try to farm the naga in Sunqua Vale, right outside of Tsumei Village. It is the same thing, but go toward Shing Jea and you will find a monk boss. Kill for a chance of an elite monk tome. Now make your way toward Lake Puang (Northwest of Tsumei Village, you are there when u see a bridge). On the way you will meet a Lesser Oni, kill it for a chance for an Oni wep. Completing the run takes about 7 minutes. You make 400g-800g.

Well, since you have Spirit Bond on your bar I guess you also use low AL beginner's armour? If so, then this might be an "important detail" to mention

another little detail: don't resize the pictures when uploading, helps people see what's on them

nice guide except from those details.

I'll be trying this with my normal 55/SV build.. need money for GWEN armors and shiny things ^^

I farmed this place for awhile now with my 105hp and 330hp builds. The full Kappa/Naga run can take around 40 minutes to complete. You get alot of drops, and sometimes alot of gold items. I once came back with almost 10 gold items when I first started farming there. You can find and kill every Kappa and Naga... there is around 125 enemies you can kill in this area. I've got more than a few Crude Axes... and inherent always sucks. They are really small axes.

Spoil Victor only works until you have more health than enemy, which can lead to them standing there and needing something else to kill them. SS wouldn't work that well since there are alot of casters, and you would have to cast it on each of them if they ain't closely tight together for SS to affect the others.

My 330hp Rt/Mo build would be alot faster, and you are able to kill everything that is attacking you all at once. It might be the fastest to use to farm these areas... and have more energy to spam skills.

Default nice job.

hmmm.... that build looks familiar. that's right! it's exactly the same as mine!

nice guide, but for me, the place to farm crude axes will always be kinya province. i've gotten at least 5 from the mantids alone, and iv gotten a bunch of merchable sunqua blades from the naga and kappa after that. anyway, nice guide!

Funny this, I've been using a 55/SV build to farm both Panjiang and Sunqua for a while now. Both places are almost totally solo-able - the only icky things are godsforsaken Crimson healers, and you'll need a higher hp set for Tengu necros.

Oh, and Yingko the Skull Claw's a bitch... damn Oppressive Gaze

I should assume that Kinya Province can be farmed with the same build - I just get bored with Mantids

Cool farm, sounds wicked... How many enemies do you face at once, I wonder if my 130 Derv can cut it? I can take on 4 enemies at a time safely

Is it necessary to use 15AL armor and run Spirit Bond, or can a normal 55 build work?

Nevermind, tried it myself. My regular 55 build works fine.

I think farming Minister Cho's Estate with a 55 N/Mo is a much better way of farming Crude Axes. But this is a nice way to get anti-farm off my back...

Using 15 rated armor and Spirit Bond, with Retribution works really well with VwK or SoJ. VwK is definately alot faster than Ss and Soj since it doesn't knockdown, and don't require to cast SS on each of the enemies if needed. 330hp VwK Spirit Bonder can kill enemies in less than 10 seconds... besides the casters that sometimes wait for the other to die to start attacking. Minister Cho's Estate Mission is definately super quick with VwK Spirit Bonder... since all enemies are Warriors. Explorable is still fast, but the Ele's are the only ones that are the last to attack and then die. 9-10 minute runs for Ministers Cho's Mission, and 5 minute runs for Explorable. 330hp Build also works in just about any farmable area in NM or HM, and is just about as fast as farming can get. check it out at: 330hp Vengeful Spirit Bonder

Ritualist are the worth leveling up... they got plenty uses.

i dont realy agree with ReZDoGG his statement that VwK is faster then SS i ran both and i ran SS faster then VwK. With SS u can group them up nicely wich cant realy with VwK.

I prefer SS or SV due to most of the spellcasters cast a lot of spells rather then direct wanding which takes more time to kill with VWK.

Not sure about VwK, but SV mows the Guards down. I think its 4 hits and then one cast of Necrosis and they're down. Most of the time, the only thing slowing me down is the recharge time on SV.

I think the mission is much better to farm for the Warrior gear than explorable. I've got quite a nice sum of rares from this, including max serpent axes and crude axes.
