well then, I've done a bit of testing and I tried this build in a gvg, the opponents attacked me at first but quickly realized I was indestructible, so I have been thinking, that the great use of this build is for a split strategy build, this build can tank every NPC in the GH up to three to four at once, so this would work excellently to base gank while the enemy is distracted by your own guild.

ultimate enchantments
think about it. with 4 mana regen the dervish has the potential to be the ultimate enchanter. d/mo could have nething like spirit of balthazaar, live vicariously, mending, holy veil, retribution, any of those. just wondering if anyone has worked upon this and if so what your build is

check the 130 d/mo farm its prty awsome , I can see using Balth's Spirit and essense bond but the only problem is the build is specifically foucused on you, it is spread out between people in your group so you won't get a grant energy benefit.mending is nice but why use when you have *MYSTIC REGENERATION*(amplified voice). as far as holy viel or liv vicaiously those skills are now called *MYSTIC VIGOR*(once again amplified...) and retribution just isn't worth the energy cost vs the dmg output. as far as this build goes in my opinion there are only two problems
1. cost, but hey would you rather spend 20k or never get through a mish.
2. dmg output, for some reason I always think the dmg could be greater. there may be a way to swap out dmg enchants for scythe attacks or something.

running!
with a few tweaks this build runs well too. I swapped all the scythe mastery for wind magic and then put harriers haste (can use others tho) in it's place.
When i came up to a mob, i used mystic regeneration and threw up loads of enchants, with this huge health regen i flicked on harriers and sprinted away, it owns XD. Ofcause i'm not exactly the best player in the world so there might be better ways, buy you can really quickly make a running build.
apart from that still an ownage build

its fairly comparable you just have to look out for enchant stripping/rending. But once you learn how to stack enchantments so the vital ones aren't stripped there's no problem with it. The only thing that did give me trouble was necros using corrupt enchantments and envenom enchantments. But like i said once you learn how to stack enchantments you'll do fine.

just buy a new rune man, and I should update this build a bit, I have been using some scythe mastery now to help do more damage in party situations, oh wait the attunement is scythe...damn yer SOL man.. but don't worry about it, 15 and 16 doesn't make a massive difference. Nvm just looked at the build again, 1.0 has the scythe mastery in it xD

no problem.
well i got a new hood, didn't take long, not black but who cares anyhow. all i need now to finish is zealous scythe snathe which shudn't be a problem, i had a feeling it needed some scythe mastery, coz no doubt while using 2.0 i never died, but i was giving off so little damage that VoS wasn't really doing alot. i'm used to the micro- management now tho so i'm kuel with it, i'll keep checking up for updates anyhow.

I think some people here are missing a lot of the point of being a melee class. Unless you are in DoA, there's really not much point to 'tanking' unless you are doing some damage also. You should have some defense/self heal, but this shouldn't keep you from dealing any damage. If you have no defense, you will hurt enemies for a little while, but take an inevitable dirt nap. If you have no offense, you do little more than take up space and spit on an enemies face.

Tried the build! It works as advertised, very impressive. With radiants and runes as described, I've got 34 energy. With General Morgahn along with the Energizer Bunny Motivation build, that is enough in itself! In RoT this build simply rocks. Margonite Seers are a bit of an annoyance, but demon groups go down easily, even groups one after another, and the health bar stays pegged at the top. And this is without putting on Balthazar or Lyssa! With either, it rocks even more!
Going out as a group of 4 on general maps, with Dunkoro, Olias, and an interrupt ranger hero or fire ele, works well, although Mesmer and Necro bosses can be troublesome.
Tried solo farming briefly, it will work if you don't tie into something that strips your enchants or drains your energy.
Thanks OP! I'm only up to the Gate of Pain with this char and was a bit disappointed in my Dervish until I tried this build. Thank you!

Sorry for digging but I haven't played in six months and I'm looking for a good build for my Dervish. Does this build still hold up well? Anyone still using it have comments?
