D/W Runner?
I was wondering what all your thought would be if using a D/W as runner as opposed to D/Mo or /A?I am not to thrilled about Fleeting Stability as you have to watch it and renew it constantly this is bad sitting stationary but on a run I have other things to think about. What would your thoughts be?

i also thought about this but i came to the conclusion that a w/d would be better i might try a build like this on my warrior:
[skill]Sprint[/skill][skill]Enraging Charge[/skill][skill]Signet of Stamina[/skill][skill]Mystic Regeneration[/skill][skill]Vital Boon[/skill][skill]Signet of Pious Light[/skill][skill]Fleeting Stability[/skill]-=-[skill]vow of silence[/skill]or[skill]Defy Pain[/skill]-=-
i but defy in there becuase it the onlyhalf good elite for running in strengh.
even though vow only last for 5 seconds u can use this when your ion big trouble and to get past stupid ice imps.
i don't think it will ever be a build that is as effective as a w/mo runner...
even though alot of people think a d/a is better, if the runner nows how to use the w/mo build they will can get the job done alot faster. i reckon a w/d or d/w won't be very useful as a runner. the dervish is an effective runner only because high constant regen and spammable anti-spell.

See Charging Strike [skill]charging strike[/skill] High enough Strength, and it's the only speed buff you need. Naturally, it's not quite so good for a Drok runner, where ideally you need to keep up a speed buff and anti-KD at the same time (namely, Charge! + Balanaced)

Ha! Assassins and Dervishes have Warriors beat. Shadow Form and Vow of Silence own the crap out of 'em. Spell immunity is ftw.
And Age... Fleeting Stability isn't too bad. It may seem a touch clunky... But in practice, it makes Balanced Stance look shit. Even enrgy's not too hard, with the Dervishes' high regen, and high Mysticism (after all, VoS = win).

i don't like [skill=text]charging strike[/skill]....
i have a w/mo runner i have been running here since i was level 15...
a w/mo if you know how can out do or out run a sin or derv...
if you know how to run unlike most people who use derv's and sins...
you should be able to run almost any were...
i am quite an experienced runner i managed with really good spawn to run droks at level 15 on my warrior...
if you would like i would prove to you that an experienced w/mo is better than any other profession...
i hate shadow form since it leaves you with practicly no health and there is no way to spamm it more than 3 times...
ok ill give you that vow is a good skill with a plus 20% enchant it is
spammmable but.. a dervish uses spells and you can not keep any skills up without getting owned...
a warrior with the right skills can own any sin or derv i have proved this to my friends and i will to you if you like...
the warrior is the only profession(not including RaO or carppy eles) that can be in a stance and have a speed buff at the same time...
i don't want this to turn in to a war of words but hey if you think that sins and dervish are better runners then you keep thinking that...

BTW, Forgot to mention in my last post but: "the warrior is the only profession(not including RaO or carppy eles) that can be in a stance and have a speed buff at the same time..."
Let's see...
Assassins have Siphon Speed, which is a Hex.
Dervishes have Featherfoot Grace, Lyssa's Haste--which are Enchantments--AND Avatar of Balthazar, an Elite Form.
Mesmers have the speed boost Enchantment, Illusion of Haste.
Paragons have FOUR Shout speed boosts.
Hehe. Sorry, dude. That's not quite a viable argument; there are many non-stance speed boosts.
I DO agree that most D/A and A/D are...bad runners. Hehe. They cast way too much, but, lol, us good A/D and D/A are the best. They Are The Fastest, Easiest, and Most Reliable.
I don't wanna' make you upset, I just am standin' up for us Dervishes!

Uh-huh. And a warrior can farm better than a monk, eh?
Get up on your numbers. Except for CS, the fastest warrior buff is 25%.
Easily outstripped by assassin and derv skills, not to mention Rangers.
You ever FFF'd before? Watch how fast a derv, ranger, or assassin completes st in comparison to a warrior.
My ranger, assassin, or derv will run faster and more reliably any day of the week.
sure, you completed Drok's at lvl 15. My derv could at lvl 11.
I'm sorry...but the numbers just don't work out in the warrior's favor, this is a fact. I'm sure you're a fine runner....but the warrior isn't the best runner.

I guess I have been so use to Balance Stanced when doing runs in the desert.I am just so use to just hitting BS and not watching it unlike when I 55 I watch my enchants. This is because I am on the move all the time.I wouldn't put the W/Mo build down so much as the run has been nerfed so much and they did it successfully for 1.5 yrs.It takes a lot more skill I would say to be able to do this as a W/Mo or even /Mes than a D/X or A/X.

First off, I don't see many runners use adrenaline based skills on their bar...if so we'd have warriors running the whole thing with rush. Second, w/mo wasnt the best running build in the game, due to the lack of removing hexes, only having smite hex and holy veil]. IMO I prefered a W/Me run to droks since I had a higher chance of surviving with the faster hex removal, and certain enchantments.

droks is probably one of the few runs where u need something "extra" (anti knockdown etc, otherwise its just a matter of pure speed...
charging strike is pretty sweet, havent worked out what to put on the rest of a cs running bar tho :\
fastest short distance runner is probably my derv, with avatar of balthezar and dash (+eternal aura)
