4 man Urgoz Hard Mode - The whole Elite Mission
4 man Urgoz on Hard Mode!
Let the countdown to the next nerf begin.
You have to see this "guid" as an update to the old 3man guid.
Therefore i just explain the different skillz and steps which are different.
Btw: sry for my english
Tank - SoA Spiritbonder
12+3+1 protection
12+1 favor
3 inspiration
Armor: 15 or lower
Weapons: 20% enchantmenst
Skillz:
Spellbreaker
Protective Spirit
Spirit Bond
Shield of Absorption
mantra of Resolve
Blessed Aura
Life Attunement
Essence Bond
Smiter - Smiter
12+3+1 smiting
12+(whatever) protection
3 blood
Armor: any max armor
Weapon: 20% enchantments
Skillz:
Shield of Judgment
Consume Corpse
Blood Ritual
Rebirth
Vital Blessing
Balthazar's Spirit
Retribution
Holy Wrath
Notes: Blood Ritual is to speed up
Consume Corpse is for the door room
There is no need to use Shield of Judgment!
Ranger - Enviroment
12+3+1 wilderness survivial
12+1 beast
3+1 bow (don't know what its called^^)
Armor: any max armor
Weapon: high energy set / longbow
Skillz:
Serperent's Quickness
Quickening Zephyr
Edge of Extinction
Symbiosis
Storm Chaser
Choking Gas
Broad head Arrow
Rebirth
NOtes: Use Serperent's to have Zephyr all the time.
Symbioses is for the degen rooms and to kill Urgoz.
Storm Chaser is for sweeping.
Necromancer - Grenths Balance
blood 16
beherschung 12
armor: any max
Weapon: 20% enchantmenst / life ++
Skillz:
Awaken the Blood
Demonic Flesh
Blood Renewal
Grenth's Balance
Shatter Enchantment
Backfire
Diversion
Arcane Larceny
Notes: Skillz 1 - 4 to get urgoz health down so that EoE triggers
Skillz 5 - 8 barks/guardiens - if a monk survived eoe bomb
How to kill Urgoz after the EoE nerf:
1. put all enchantmenst on the necro / use symbiosis
2. the necro schould activate skillz 1 to 3 and use 4 on Urgoz
3. eoe will triggern now

Just one question... Why would anyone bother to run this, when you can join full 12 man party, finish it safer and faster, and still get nice, guaranteed drops from end-chest (which is the point of doing Urgoz Warren)?

Wow... this will be great to do with my friends. And Game Finatic, to answer your question, people can do this to get more gold drops and money unlike a 12 man party.

i was working on same idea, except for wonderful thing with grenth's balance necro! kudos!
tho doesn't SoA reduce dmg from holy wrath? i had soooooo much problems with dishing out enough dmg. Tho my tank and smiter builds were exact as yours ;]

For the challenge I imagine, other than that its pointless to use 4 man.

- Of all the Pugs I have tried, none has made to Urgoz in HM
- Easier to find 4 guildies than 12

faster (extremly fast - let the tank pull everything), safer (less party wipe outs / no leaver)
You can call it a run/rush to the urgoz chest -> chest gives best items
more gold drops/person
funny - see the EoE bomb in action and you will love it
i wait for the next nerf bye bye

Often smaller teams are quicker than larger ones anyway... a prime example is a 3man team for the Foundry in DoA.
Does this strategy work in HM?

-> its working
-> its hm only / read the thread pls
-> safer/faster
-> you need practice until you know what to do
-> the tank has the hardest job
-> smiter can be played by a hero
-> zephyr is also for SoA (if the tank lags only 30 seconds and there is no zephyr he will cast SoA usally too late)
-> the tank should pull everything he can, so that EoE can kill the monks/rits

guess the necro also can be played as hero, 30 second lag? it's death for anything lol.... nothing could save you. what i say is 5-10 seconds max and yet it's TOO late.
same as with 3 man - disenchantment kills, and i mean it ;]
