If most of your skills are spells:
- Insiteful Staff of Fortitude: HSR 20%, Energy +5^50
OR
- Wand: HSR 20%, Energy +5^50; Focus: HSR 20%, +30hp
If most of your skills are spirits:
- Axe/Sword/Spear: Enchantments lasts 20% longer/+30hp, Energy + 5; Focus: +5AL^50, +30hp
See a complete list of green Rt weapons on wiki

Quite, Item Spells can prove very worthwhile.
It's important to remember that if you use an Item Spell, you're technically no longer wielding your weapon, so you don't get the bonuses. However, as far as green weapons go:
Channeling Builds:
[wiki]Ssyn's Staff[/wiki] is a nice general staff giving +60HP.
Wayward Wand + [wiki]Kayin's Focus[/wiki] can also be nice and also has Channeling +1
Spirit-Spamming Builds:
Personally I use a custom made staff, since you're using binding rituals and not spells, staffs such as [wiki]Staff of Ruin[/wiki] and [wiki]Alsin's Walking Stick[/wiki] are all pretty good.
Restoration Builds:
I use [wiki]Bazzr's Staff[/wiki] for all my restoration needs. [wiki]Spiritgarden's Repose[/wiki] is nice if you want a little extra energy, though I never need it.
Green weapons are all nice and all, but nothing beats making your own. That way you have the stats you want on a staff with, if you're lucky, a skin you like. You can often pick up req 9 gold inscribable staves for not too much and mod them as you like. For instance, my Spirit-Spamming staff has Health +30, Energy+5^50% and Communing +1 (20%) chance. Getting 20% chance for higher level spirits is fun

For resto, I use Brightclaw (20/20 HCT/HSR) and the resto focus outside of altrum ruins i think? (20/20 HCT/HSR) The Collector focus is rly nice, and one of a kind, but collecting 5 truffles is much, MUCH harder than it sounds

Depends what I'm doing but nowadays I generally run with melee weapons and off-hand for the +30 hp and the unconditional +5 energy on the sword/axe/spear and +30hp and +10 vs slashing damage on the offhand.
While the hp and the energy could be achieved with staves with the bonus of 20% faster things on spells, it matters little to me as I hate relying on percentages for spells (fast recharge/cast generally means nothing to me) so I rarely build bars around it, and I don't get all the interesting shit you get on melee toys and offs'.
Things such as specific +10 al things are my personal favourite, followed by cripple mods on swords when I use crazyness like Aura of Thorns or Return (on ele, mo) and Heavy axe mods (why are there no sword heavies!? Annoyed...) for when I want to apply weakness (Enervating, Enfeeble, YAA etc...).
I don't miss my wand damage much...

Any recommendation for modding the hourglass staff? just made pve a rit and i´d like to know the best mods for the staff, i use 14 communing (maybe ill use 16). I looked in the collectors section and coulnt find any 20/20 (for communing) staff with communing req , so, in case i wanna mod the hourglass or the communing staff, what mods do i need to use to make 20/20 for communing?
Honestly, i like the communing staff as much as the hourglass,
Also... what elite is better for a communing build? ritual lord or wanderlust?
Last one... lol, is there any skill to cast spirits faster?
Thanks

If you are going for VwK farming. Make sure you have Restoration Focus from collectors in Alterim Ruins, or crafter in Vasburg Armory.
If you don't wanna farm for that item, or use 5K to get that focus
Use Alem's Remedy, Awesome Resto staff!

Unfortunately you can't modify the hourglass staff.
