The Enlightened Restorer
Hey all,
I've got a ritualist and i completed the factions campaign with it and i'm halfway through Proph/NF and i want to share a build i used in almost all the missions and PuGs. I'm not very experienced with rits but i'm pretty good with builds so any1 who has suggestions is always welcome.
Rit/ Any
Armor: I use full heralds insignia+ 1 rune of vitality+ the best vigor rune you can afford
weapons: I use Orosen's staff but any staff with either +30 +30/ +5 armor +5armor is ok. (you'll be holding ashes so it doesn't really matter).
Attributes: 12+1+3 restoration
about 5 to 8 communing
rest in spawing power
Skills:
[Unknown skill: Spirit Light Weapon][Unknown Skill: Spirit Transfer][Unknown Skill: Soothing Memories][Unknown Skill: Weapon of Shadow][Unknown Skill: Recuperation][Unknown Skill: Life][Unknown Skill: Mighty Was Vorizun] + (i like[Unknown Skill: Lively Was Naomei] but you can also use[Unknown Skill: Flesh of my Flesh]
Useage:
At the start of the battle you activate Mighty Was Vorizun, this will give you a huge armor boost (+25 armor) and good energy, then create recuperation and life. Spirit Light Weapon is for people that drop under 50% hp (this is health regen expressed NOT in pips which makes this skill so beautiful), Spirit Transfer is for emergency heals and Soothing memories for people below 80%.
Weapon of shadow is to be cast on tanks and people who are being ganked, this skill can occasionally be swapped out for Wielders Remedy.
Plz try this build out and tell me what you think of it
I'll add more info to this thread in the future.
Thx in advance

Playing devils advocate, the danger of playing with Mighty Was Vorizun and having a second ashes, leaves you open to a potential energy issue.
Example: You are healing and you have a second mob join the fray. Your party is getting picked off. You need to drop the Mighty ashes in order to bring up Lively. Problem, your energy was low and the -20 from dropping the Mighty ashesh brings your energy to 0 (or below, taking a few more seconds to start recharge of energy). By the time you can get Lively going, you're all dead.
I specifically stay with one ashes skill. Mighty for my Channeling build, Attuned for my healing. That way, I don't leave myself open for that issue.
(Also, I wouldn't drop attuned for Lively urn because that throws off energy management, the reason for using attuned in the first place).

Looks a bit light on energy management.
-I wouldn't use spirit transfer, it's not that much better than spirit light in PvE, it costs twice as much, recharges longer, and can't be used without a spirit.
-Hex removal, bring it. I usually go /me for inspired hex or hex eater signet, it'll help a bit with your energy, too
-No need for weapon of shadow, you really want to use spirit light weapon on recharge. It's at least 320 health for 5 energy, which rocks.
-Life is really expensive to keep up, and not so great when you always want a spirit around. I'd suggest using recovery instead, as it has a more useful effect as well. You might consider empowerment instead of recuperation, too, but both work (recuperation is energy hungry too)
-Lively Was Naomi isn't very good. People don't die in big flesh-piles. There's no real reason to not use DP signet or flesh of my flesh.
-I usually don't bother with Mighty was vorizon. If you like armor, bring protective was kaolai, it has a useful secondary effect. If you don't, bring generous was tsungrai.
-I usually bring another inspiration skill, like ether signet, to help out with the energy.

Yes, I am not "Guru Forum" person, but I like to contribute.
Oh! I don't claim myself as a leet ritualist. Don't listen to everything I say!
1. Have to agree with Dr Strangelove. Recovery is way to go with Spirit Light Weapon. Fair energy cost, long duration. awesome effect.
2. I say if you bring Recovery, I would recommand bringing Mend Body And Soul. Then, you are great condition remover
3. I bring Attuned Was Songkai for my elite if I run resto Rit. but if you are using Spirit Light Weapon. I would recommand Generous Was Tsungrai. Works great with Flesh of My Flesh
4. Spirit Light > Spirit Transfer. Even though I use both, and I only have to cast transfer very few times (when one player's health is going down really fast, I cast that, Fast Activation time ftw) Also, If your spirits get killed. Spirit Transfer becomes useless and if you don't realize it and cast it. You are just wasting 10 energy So. Spirit Light is way to go!
5. I don't like Mighty Was Voizon, had bad experience with this man's ash :P
This ash can get very tricky to use if you are not careful. BUT IF you DO want to use it. make sure you have it ALL THE TIME! Don't drop it in any situation. Don't even drop it when you are sleeping!
6. Unless you are pritty darn sure that one boss can kill your whole group in one spot, Naomai is bad idea. Yes, I know that is an awesome rez item spell. but having 2 ashes, and especially that other ash being Voizon. Nope. Bad Idea. Use Death Pact or FomF
