A couple technicool questions
I only recently learned all dervish skills, and have started taking him to the arenas a little to try and get a feel of them in pvp. Some things I've always wondered though.
Does the aoe trigger twice on [skill]banishing strike[/skill] if you hit two summoned creatures? It's a bit tricky to test, considering you'll see a bunch of numbers either way when banishing a MM crowd or the kurzick mine cleanser spirits.
Does [skill]eremite's attack[/skill] take foes adjecent to me or my target into consideration when determening the damage bonus? I'm guessing it goes on me, the player.

Eremite's Attack is foes adjacent to YOU, so you'll always get at least one damage buff on it.
Banishing... IIRC, it triggers on every summoned creature hit. Very effective against minion masters, and spirit spammers too retarded to spread their spirits out (most of them in AB and RA, funnily enough).

Yeah, I think you're right. The past few days I've been taking screenshots every time I land a multiple banishing strike so I can analyze how many damage numbers there are in relation to targets, and it certainly looks like it does trigger once for each summoned creature you hit.
Here's one of the shots I ended up with. It was one of the less useful ones since it's so messy, but it was fun adding up the numbers and seeing how much damage I did - almost 2000. Yeah it might not be entirely relevant since 80% of the damage went on expendable targets, but still interesting.
Also note that there are 4 reports of 75 damage, which could only be achieved in that situation by hitting two players twice with the aoe. You can tell that none of the 75's are from the direct attack, as there are already 3 numbers which are neither 75 nor 150.
I'm guessing chilling victory works the same way then? I've never really considered it, but by the way the skill is worded I don't see why not.

Alas, Chilling Victory's proc only triggers once. So, no matter how many foes have less health than you, you'll only deal one wad of Cold damage.
I guess it'd be too powerful if it worked like Banishing Strike.

it worked the same way for like a day after the nightfall release. when everyone was testing it. Its still a powerful skill, but 10 energy is to much for a dervish energy pool imo.

It's once per summoned creature. You begin to realize this as you trash all 20 minions trying to mob you with 1 skill, or take out all 5 of that dumb rit's spirits in 1 hit. Amazing skill, but conditional...

It will trigger at most 3 times.
However, banishing strike activated 3 times == death to all summoned creatures nearby.

You're right, let me rephrase... once per summoned creature, being limited by the property of your scythe. =p
Too bad it's not an enchant that works on your next attack skill, then you could use whirlwind attack with it.
