Default Help with build.

Hi all,

I am NightFall user and I'm trying to get a good build for far away attacks that always attack surrounding foes preferabbly fire but any will do I guess. I am a half necro so I've got:

Searing Flames,Swarm, Liquid flame,Lightning Orb, Ice Spikes, Fire Storm, Flare and Steam

Bold is Elemental, Simple is necro.

I'm not using my earth skills, I dont know if I should as I haven't found them useful yet and I've not ventured much just till sulfurous wastes ( I keep dieing there

You're specced into 4/5 attributes there. That;s going to hurt your effectiveness massively. You want to be specced into two elements and energy storage MAX.

Just use a normal SF build of:
[skill]searing flames[/skill][skill]glowing gaze[/skill][skill]liquid flame[/skill][skill]mark of rodgort[/skill][skill]meteor shower[/skill][skill]fire attunement[/skill][skill]glyph of lesser energy[/skill][skill]resurrection signet[/skill]

Its very hard to be effective with 3 or more elements, Energy Storage, then secondary profession stuff as well. By then you're probably down to 5-6 in most attributes; its better to be great at one or two things, rather than underpowered in everything.

I'd drop the Necromancer spell. Its just damage and brings nothing unique to an Elementalist bar. Your ele spells outdamage it several times over. Ice Spikes and Steam are nice utility skills to blind and slow down your enemy, so those may be useful, but drop Lightning Orb as well since you don't need to be speccing points into Air.

To replace those, I'd either just throw in some more fire or take a look at other Water skills that give you defensive bonuses or other useful effects.

Agreed
though usually I would say just stay in one element cept for farming. 1 element and energy storage.
