How do Alliance control towns and how is decided...
I know this might be old topic, but I just don't get it... there are many ways to gain factions, and you can transfer them to your alliance, I already know the benefits of controlling certain towns, what I don't get is HOW you can control a town or outpost and how all the mechanics around it works...
Can someone post me a link or explain me how Luxon-Kurzick border moves and how you can own and specific town?

Each town is ranked. Generally, the closer it is to the capital, the higher it is ranked (for either allegiance). This is done for both Kurzicks and Luxons. Then, the border is taken into account. Everything to the left is given to the Kurzicks, and those alliances with the most faction get House zu Heltzer, and continues downwards. The same is done for the Luxon side and Cavalon. As such, you cannot specify which town you want to control, just work your way up the ladder to improve your chances of controlling the capital.
The border moves in response to AB (Alliance Battles). More battles won for a side, the border shifts towards the loser. When the border shifts, the battleground for AB becomes biased for the losing side.

it's still unclear, if you dont choose a town to control what affects the factions required to get towns to change? just AB? what what makes a luxon alliance control a kurzick town and vice versa?
I thought that the border and map changes are tied to the amount of towns controlled by opposite factions. but if its all random than I really dont see how its happening...

The factor that is decided when it comes to town ownership is the amount of factions that allaince total has gathered and have total, so for example [any] allaince has something like 30mil faction, they own cavalon, the luxon capitol, the town below - aurios mines, is owned by another allaince with less faction, for the allaince below to over take the allaince above they need as a allaince to donate more factions than the above allaince. Factions are counted i belive every 3 hours, so sometimes if there is 2 allaince close it can be a rush to see who can doante more than the other in the 3 hour slot to enable them to over take the above allaince.
Further more guilds/allaince losses 10% of there factions everyday, i belive its something like at 12am/1am GMT.
Allaince members can gain factions in afew ways, AB, FFF, Fort Aspenwood, Jade Quarry.
Allaince mmebers can donate in 5k faction blocks

I thought a specific guild owns a town not the entire alliance, and even then you still didnt explain how the factions needed to control a town rise and fall. you also didnt explain how alliances gain towns of their opposite faction and how exactly the border works

The allaince guild leader name will say they own the town but in reality its the whole allaince controls the town.
If you re read my above post it explains
i) How allaine members gain factions ( AB, FA, FFF, JQ )
ii) How they donate - 5 k blocks to the allaince scavenger in the GH
iii) Each guild loses 10% of there factions per night
iv) The Boarder works in relation to AB matches and weather luxon and winning more or kurzick are winning more matches
v) If the boarder is deeper in kuzick terriortory then the luxon with the next largest amount of faction owns them towns and so on and so on...vice cersa for the kurzicks

point v is unclear to me. cross side towns usually have a very low "faction's to control" so I dont understand you here
and is it possible to donate opposite factions to your guild? if so what effects will it create, negative, negating the correct factions? positive, allows you to capture opposite towns?
