Default Help Tweak My H/h Build

Hey all, lookin for some help with my h/h build.
Little history first, I have only been playing for a couple of months, i own Prophecies and GW:EN only, and thus only have access to the skills and classes found in those games, and lastly i am still really new to the whole hero thing so any help at all would be great

I am play a warrior sword build, second class changes all the time cant find one that i really like yet...

the heros i have been using lately are:
Vekk as a lighnting ele, only have the standard skills he came with plus a couple i got with hero skill points (no elites)
Odgen as a smiting/healing monk, i have a few elites available (SoJ, Healing hands, Shield of Regen)
Livia as a Blood degen, Life transfer, life siphon, shadow strike , vamp touch, well of blood vamp gaze (sometimes use her as a curse necro with SS)

I have all the other heros for GW:EN

the henchmen i use mainly are:
Cynn
Herta
Mhleno
Lina

So thats it...... I am looking for any and all info that could help me out as still pretty much a noob.. anything from a second class to compliment my build to a better set up for my heros along with any elite(s) i should get. I will be staying in Gw:EN with this character. Thanks for any help in advance

Your monk hero should be a heal no matter what - maybe prot if u already have a healer hero on the party. Livvia should be a full SS, and Vekk can be SF because SFs rock. Nah only joking.

This is my opinion, but whatever suits you

Do yourself a REALLY big favor and buy Nightfall to get your full compliment of Heroes. This will give you an overall boost in play skill as well as more versatility in Hero/Hench build selections.

Herta (wards)
Cynn (Nukes)
Mehnlo (LoD in EotN)
Lina (ZB in EotN)

Those are good choices for the base henchies. The builds they have in EotN are decent, much better than the same hench in any other chapter, where they are less than half as effective.

However, none have energy management, so you may want to consider Eve or one of your Heroes with Energy management.

I took those 4 and built
R/P or W/R Tank .... W/Me or just W/ would be good choices. I'm R/ or /R for RolePlay reasons. There are alot of good warrior builds and advice out there to choose from, just look around.

Greater Conflagration Ranger Interrupter - GC means the wards apply to physical damage. You can add winter if you want to go snow bunny, but it's not required. A Hero warder can add additional armor by using Elite Ward against Harm, instead of the non-elite wards Herta Uses. I prefer the non-elite ward with Sandstorm. There's some nice player based ward builds, but I seriously doubt the AI would play them well at all. I may try one of those on my warder, but I'm not getting my hopes up that the AI has the 4 synapses required to play the build properly.

Cautery Signet or Spinter Weapon Ranger to help with mass condition removal when needed, or AoE damage. You could also slot in Eles for spike or nuke builds in many cases. It really just depends on if you need the Cautery condition removal support.

Hybrid Heal/Prot Monk, RC Monk, Prot/Heal Monk and or Elementalist or Warder depending on the mission or dungeon and which henchies I've chosen. Depending on the other choices, this is where I cover the weaknesses in the other builds, the idiot AI, or whatever other problems there are.

GC+Wards give a good party wide defense, at least when the AI is smart enough to stand in them. Two warders actually helps here. The AI is so smart it will run OUT of the wards when attacked, just so it can die instantly.

The Cautery Signet is one of the more powerful and self contained party wide condition skills, there's other ways, but I'm fond of it.

LoD + ZB monks combine very nicely, if only the henchmen had e-management skills. But Honestly, I've given the heroes e-management on monk builds, and they use it horribly if it's anything other than offensive e-management. So when you're stuck with AI you're very limited in what they could use properly regardless. It was really annoying to watch Tahly ignore her e-management skills till she's less than 10e, use it ... then stop using it again once she's over to 10e. *smacks Tahly in the back of the head*

Just one of many team oriented options... Mostly chosen because I like to bring along R/ or /R and pets just for purely roleplay reasons and because I enjoy it. not because it's necessarily efficient.

How was what I said dumb? I could have been like 90% of responders and told you to stop being lazy and use the search function for build help. Instead what I offered was a piece of advice. Seeing as you need an explanation here's why.

1. Nightfall will give you access to all heros. 3 Necro heros rock!
2. Nightfall will give you more skill sets to access. Which leads to better synergy between your characters and hero/henchies.
3. Unlike Factions, Nightfall was alot better for gameplay, and in my opinion will teach you how to use your heros to greater effect. which will increase your skill as a player.

So scratch all you want. You're just limiting yourself. What the hell do I know? I've only been playing the game since it came out.

Well lets see, ele... u should try and go fire. and dual attune. odgen, just go healer or proter and livia go ss, or mm.

these are "standard" builds i guess. like nothing fancy. just things i like to use.

for the dual attune i used rodgart invocation
