Hrm...Dominate + Smiting...
It will be hard, since most smiting builds are built on Zealot's Fire, which Mesmers will have many problems finding spells to trigger. But I suppose you could try a knockdownish build that punishes healing monks:
Backfire
Diversion
Shame
Bane Signet
Banish
Scourge Healing
[Mantra of Recovery or Shield of Judgement] {E}
[Res of choice]
Fast Casting 10 + 1
Domination 10 + 2
Smiting Prayers 11
(Just minor runes should be sufficient)
Energy management will be a problem...but at least this gives you something to work from. Note that it's not very good...mostly because I don't normally use smiting on my Me/Mo. Inspiration/Protection is a very good combination for that set of professions.
Another way to go might be Inspiration/Smiting to resolve energy problems. You could then use Zealot's Fire with a couple spamable spells from healing or protection, and refill your energy with Drain/Tap/Power Drain... It's worth trying, but won't get you as much mileage as the El/Mo smiter with Ether Renewal.

Well I have a El/Me, without drok armor, but I could just change him to a El/Mo. The thing is, I dont have many points to spend on him anymore.
Air Magic - 15
Energy Storage - 11
Not used - 11
Those are all the attribute points i have for him. I only have 11 left and still need the Droknar's attribute point quest, but yea...I wouldnt have much in smiting then...I'm gonna look for another build for my mes besides a Me/Mo.

Finally reached my last builds.
PVE and PVP.
Mesmer/Aeromancer
PVE:
Health and Mana Burn:
Energy Burn
Energy Surge
Chaos Storm
Conjure Phantasm
Phantom Pain
Lightning Strike
Envenerating Charge
Chain Lightning
PVP:
Denied and Charged
Energy Burn
Energy Surge
Weakness Signet
Conjure Phantasm
Glyph of Elemental Power
Lightning Strike
Envenerating Charge
Chain Lightning.
Final Stats are:
Fast Cast: 6 +1 with Mask
Domination: 11 +1 with Mask
Illusion: 11 +1 with Mask
Air: 10 +2 for one spell with the Glyph.
The builds are similar, and obviously work for outright Mesmer Brand Spiking. The difference between them is really the lack of Chaos Storm for PVP, which would be easily ignored. The Signet and Glyph additions add to the PVP style build which is more about taking targets out quickly and denying them energy.
I also have a build for an Inspiration PVP only Mesmer.
Its built in succession with certain Elementalist and Ranger builds.
Its meant to spread and exploit conditions (In this case "On Fire")
Pure Mesmer
Brush Fire (deals with a spreading)
Ether Feast
Energy Tap
Elemental Resistance
Mantra of Flame
Fragility
Epidemic
Fevered Dreams
Mantra of Persistance
The build stats are a secret

With your Brush Fire Mesmer, I see you all set-up to do nasty damage, but without any skills that actually cause damage. Where's the Fire part of the name? If you want condition spreading for a mes/e, try mark of rodgort and fragility.

Your "spikers" won't be able to do as much spiking as a pure aero, and that energy drain will deplete your target of about 20 energy. Not very useful, or consistant.

What do you use for energy management? I'm a Domination/Inspiration Mesmer and am used to the invinite supply of energy. How would i play this build?

Virulence/Fragility Builds
I've heard alot about these virulence fragility builds, but I don't see one listed here. So I'm gonna try to list one, but take it with a grain of salt. I don't even have all these skills yet. But this is how I think they're built. If anyone with more experience with them could comment on how well it plays, that'd be great too. But anyways, I think the skill selection looks a little like this...
Phantom Pain
Shatter Delusions
Virulence
Fragility
Arcane Echo
Fighting an opponent is basically a rhythym of Fragility, Phantom Pain, shatter it for deep wound and damage, Arcane Echo, Virulence, let the first virulence wear off, virulence echo.
Keep your death magic LOW. you want virulence to wear off quick so you can use your echo'd virulence to trigger fragility again. This whole setup triggers 75 (shatter delusion) +20% max health damage, +34x9 damage in about 12 seconds. I think...
Anyways its good quick damage at the least.
I hope this inspires people to build their own fragility combo's. I've heard that incindiary arrows + fragility does wonders if your a ranger. I wonder if it beats virulence's 2 conditions over 3 seconds?

I play this build with not really caring about my energy too much. The point is to try to kill something as fast as possible so that your teammates have one less target to worry about. After you have one less threat, you can relax a tad if your energy isnt back up to snuff. But since Lightning Strike is a 5 energy spell, you can spam it pretty good if you really need to defend yourself in PVE with a power spell.
But probably the best part of this build is using Chaos Storm, Energy Surge and Chain Lightning on one mob. You take out a nice group of targets all at once and really help out the other people in your party.

Its not that the build itself is supposed to do any real damage on its own. Its part of a Team Build a friend and I came up with.

I love it when people try to tell me that the build I use every day doesnt work.
Apparenty it does, since I STILL USE IT.

IIRC, it's 3 conditions. If Deep Wound is still hanging around from PP, then poison is applied (or at least, some other condition that makes a total of 3)

I just made a Mesmer, right now its lvl 9. I was thinking is setting the attributes like this.
Fast Casting 9+1
Domination 12+1+3
Inspiration 9+1 (or 2)

That's roughly what I'm going for. Probably going 10/10/10/5 or something more spread out, because I want some Curses for Shadow of Fear (Mesmers are generally a bit light on the area effect stuff, so it's good to mix that in).
Obviously at level 9 you'll be light on the attribute points, so you might want to get all your attributes to 7 before continuing higher (attributes of 8+ cost disproportionately more than 1-7)

skills are as follows
ether feast
power drain
conjure phantasm

chaos storm
backfire
shatter enchantment

You have all those spells but no spell to help you regain energy. You may want to consider that.

see thats what i thought would be a problem, but so far i have not ever run into trouble with energy and also power drain interupts and steals energy from whoever i target thats casting a spell. Most of the time i can always catch a monk or necro or ele or whatever casting and cast power drain on them.

Well, if its not a proble, then sure, go ahead and use what you are. A frag mes always does the trick in PvP though. I went against this one mes (which btw, he was really annoying), but he used Imagined Burden and Conjure Phantasm to kill everyone and it worked very well.

lol ya thats kinda why I went mesme, I'm usually the one cursing out the caster or the rangers for interupting every single one of my spells. So i figured MY TURN NOW DAMNIT!!!! lol any suggestion on what fast casting should be at I think i have it jacked up all the way now but is there kinda of a level where it still works good but does not need to be max?
