Need a build to easly beat the Doppleganger in Hardmode !
Hi, i am going for my guardian titles now, currently working on in the doppleganger mission, i tried using a all beast master build like i did in normal mode for my protector title, but it did not work, he totlay ingorned the pet and came aggresively after me, i wiped the floor with me, can anyone suggest a build theat would easlyly beat the doppleganger i am a ranger, and got access to most builds and elites, thks in advance for your help!

Maybe try some pve skills from GWEN? I dont think he can use those. Use apply, interupt his use of apply.
take a couple of long cast time, useless spirits on the left side of your bar, dont use them, let him waste his time.
I havent beaten him in HM yet, but this is how i would try it.

I haven't tried to do hard mode either, but would spirit summoning build help? I used that in normal mode and all he did was summon weak spirits while I arrowed him to death.

i got my mirror as a R/N, i filled my bar with spirits and sacrifice necro spells. the key is that you dont use any of the skills on your bar. just bow him/her to death , should be no problem, i got masters in HM this way.

why wouldn't ye olde Healing Breeze trick work here?
meaning, equip Healing Breeze and nothing else on your bar.
Since he doesn't use HB you just wand/bow him to death, and use HB on yourself as necessary.
works for any */Mo in NM, why not HM?

Go Ranger/Necro, set curses at 12 and only take the 3 following skills.
[skill]Spiteful Spirit[/skill] [skill]Insidious Parasite[/skill] and [skill]Enfeeble[/skill]
Cast the hex's on him and then stand back and watch him destroy himself, in other words don't attack him physically! You may or may not need to recast the hex's on him but only do so when need be to allow for energy regain!

Beat him with pet in HM last time I fought him. He launched arrows at me, I strafed, pet killed.
He should simply advance to missile range, as long as you strafe his arrows he'll keep firing. Activate pet attacks as you strafe, since they're shouts. I used Run as One to allow me to strafe better, with an Enraged Lunge skillbar for the pet.

[skill]Enraged Lunge[/skill][skill]Symbiotic Bond[/skill][skill]Call of Protection[/skill][skill]Predatory Bond[/skill][skill]Call of Haste[/skill][skill]Comfort Animal[/skill][skill]Charm Animal[/skill] (8th skill optional)
The Doppelganger doesn't have a pet. Thus, exploit this and use a pet build such as this one. I defeated him with the bonus in one try with this build. With predatory bond, you have healing and he doesn't, you can do massive damage with enraged lunge, and hes stuck with normal attacks... Its very hard to lose. You don't even really have to strafe, as the damage from enraged lunge is ~100 each time, so you kill him quick enough for the damage he does to be ignorable.

Personally I used a skill bar like this.
1. 5 second cast spirit
2. 5 second cast spirit
3. 5 second cast spirit
4. 5 second cast spirit
5. Call of Haste
6. Call of Protection
7. Some other pet skill to max out enraged lunge.
8. Enraged lunge
The doppelganger should get off only 2 or 3 shots by the time he dies, less if energizing wind is up.

Some high-powered attacks + possibly Needling Shot, followed by:
"I Am The Strongest!"
Brutal Weapon
Glass Arrows
Asuran Scan
Use the shout, weapon spell and the preparation before stepping on the last stone, then cast Asuran Scan on the Doppleganger immediately after the cutscene, follow up with attack skills and enjoy the DPS. The fight should end in a few seconds.

Same here, BM build with a vamp bow. Used Enraged Lunge, I think. Took me two tries though, as the build wasn't optimal. Didn't have Run as One to help with my strafing.
