Default Two Concepts:Double Disappointment, and a 55 Rit.

Hey.

The ele needs to be taking upwards of 190-200 native(unreduced) damage in order to feel even kitten scratches on him(with geomancer armor). Double Dragon x2(echo)=nearly 500 by themselves+djinn's. Has a built in run, and, if a snare is needed(i've never PBAoE farmed), throw in grasping, if one isnt, throw in intensity or phoenix. I'm thinking if you time the casts right, they wont run.

The rit lacks retirbutions damage(i.e. the other rit/mo), but because shielding is the inbetween skill, can take on however many enemies he wants.(I'm thinking you need to time shielding perfectly so it catches the enchanting mod on your weapon set, so you'll be takig damage for like a 10th of a second). Ancestor's Rage is possible because of the superior runes, and it p00ns. I'm also unsure as to whether Reveral of damage is worth it. You could lose RoF, lose smiting, and throw in like, spirit rift, for 55 VwK PBAoE hybrid.

opinions?

ummm a 55 rit with VwK, really don't exist.... 105hp is more like it. You don't need any caster weaps or grim cesta. When you use VwK, u lose all weapon mod benefits, and your health will go back to 105hp while holdin it. Also, Retribution and RoD won't do shit with 105hp, so using Smiting ain't so good with that much health. If you want a good Ritualist HM farming build, which I would use over any Monk, Necro, and Ele builds anyday... check out my 330hp if you haven't seen it already. It can kill groups in HM in under one use of VwK... and uses Retribution and RoD for extra damage on top of VwK and Vweap.

330hp Rt/Mo Vengeful Spirit Bonder

As for Ele's, most of their high armor Tanking builds can only farm in NM, and its almost not even worth it. Especially with the new Armor Bonus stacking nerf. E/A SF Savannah Heat builds are decent in HM, or a 105hp E/Mo with MS, Savannah, Bed of Coals, and Glyph of Sac, with of course invinci monk enchants. But with Eles killing groups all at the same split second... it can easily kill the amount of drops you get.

I did have a 105hp Rt/Mo build before my 330hp. It's alot safe, and easier to use...but doesn't put out as much damage as the 330hp, and need to change up the build for degen areas. With 330hp, one skill set can be used in any possible farming area with or without degen. I've used it in so many areas that most people wouldn't think about farming, with some of the popular farming builds.
It is possible to take on bigger groups of enemies with the 330hp build, jus requires to switch out RoD for SoA or SH... SoA is best for using Retribution. I've used pretty much any farming build out there, and by far I like 330hp the most. I don't think I could use anything else again unless a 55 monk is needed for Mantra of Resolve to counter major interruptions. But I have taken on areas with alot of interruptions and were able to kill groups off... it just take some experience. And now that there is a PvE skill that can counter knockdowns, it can be used with my 330hp rit for farming areas where there are alot of knockdowns. It doesn't last long, but should kill off any groups of enemies before it wears off.
Also, taking on 1-3 smaller groups at a time seems to bring in alot more money from drops, and seem to get alot more gold drops. Farming huge groups is a big waste of time no matter what anyone says. More you use 330hp, the better you get at it... which you won't die nearly as much as you were learning to deal with Spirit Bond. You will beable to farm jus about anything. Not to meantion, that the one skill set can do it all. 55 monks and necros are in the past

lol. thank god you're kidding, ReZDoGG.

anyway, about the build(s). i think they're pretty creative ideas, but i also think better builds already out there, no offense. ReZDoGG's 330hp build is fantastic, and existing terra tanks work great. In short, yeah, they'l work well, but in my opinion, there may be builds out there that work better. but hey, creativity isn't a bad thing.

It was only my opinion I do know that Monks, Necros, and Eles have their uses for farming some specific situations. And I do still use them for farming certain stuff if needed, but I really don't use them for farming that much anymore. After using my 330hp for so long, its hard to switch back to the ol' 55 monks and necros... and I loved using Eles before HM arrived. They were pretty damn good for farming NM....
