Use /D for mystic regeneration with enough points (8 I think) to have +3 regen per enchantment. Use Dark bond and Infuse Condition if possible (Dark Bond for sure). Shambling Horrors and bone fiends are your minions. Jagged Bones or Order of Undeath is your elite. Possibly even Toxic Chill. Signet of Lost Souls and res sig should finish it off.

Mystic Regeneration, with Infuse condition and dark bond will give +9 health regeneration for 20 seconds

This translates to a heal of 360 health for 10 energy, thats damn effeciant. Not only that, I actually like the fact that the health comes in the form of regeneration, because not only does it help defeat Degen spells, but when using Blood of the Master and you need a heal, you dont always need that much health instantly, which would make it overheal and a waste of energy.

The short time mystic regen takes to get me back up, i can cast Blood of the Master a few times and be full health after chaining it something like 3 times after or during a heavy battle.

The only secondary that is any good I've seen with a MM is monk. You make the bodies from the bodies, heal the bodies, and make the bodies go boom, making more bodies.
The N/D combo is far more resilient and heals minions far more efficiently than does a N/Mo.

The "hard-on", as you put it, is 20 seconds of +9 health self-regeneration for a 10e cost. Nothing a monk has comes close.

Gotcha...forgive me for my ignorance of Dervishes.

Of course, you get +3 at lvl 8 with Mystic. With vamp horrors you get health equal to the damage they put out, and you can use Taste of Death on higher level minions(Bone Horrors/Flesh Golem) at times without even wiping the minion. Plus, it's less points in a secondary. I can see why you use MR. Just personal pref, as I like to keep as much as possible in my primary.

The best minions are [skill]Animate Bone Fiend[/skill] and [skill]Animate Bone Horror[/skill] because they have a short recharge time. One of the main problems with [skill]Animate Flesh Golem[/skill] is the recharge

[skill]Animate Shambling Horror[/skill] is ownz because it self renews and when it turns into a jagged, can cause bleeding.

I never liked Shambling too much due to the excessive recharge.

[skill]animate shambling horror[/skill]

Animate Shambling Horror has to be the best minion in your arsenal if you think about everything it does:

You get 2 Minions
You get Soul Reaping Twice
Inflicts Bleeding

So your Shambling Horror REALLY costs 7.5 Energy and recharges in 12.5 Seconds and gives off Bleeding

Include Soul Reaping x2 and your ONE cast of Animate Shambling Horror costs YOU Negative Enegy, giving you energy instead of costing some.

Factor in if your using a Hero MM that you can get 2 Jagged Horrors for every 1 Shambling Horror with Jagged Bones and you just increased your Soul Reaping from 1x to 3x since when it dies, you get 2 more.

If you do the math and take into effect everything Shambling Horrors do, how can people have a problem with it?

Even more so, if your using The Nightbringer or any other Staff-Wand/focus that has Half Skill recharge, your most likely to trigger it some of the time.

A shambling horror is still just one minion at any given time however you twist it. The recharge makes it take a very long time to raise any significant number of melee minions. Sure, it spawns a second minion on death, and sure, it's pretty soft on energy thanks to Soul Reaping benefits... but if I have to choose between plain old-fashioned Bone Horror and Shambling, I'll take Bone any day. 10e and 5 seconds recharge, can't beat it.

Oh for sure though, Bone Horror is everyone's bread and butter, you just cant get normally an army of all Shambling horrors.

What you CAN do though is this.

If you feel like playing with two minion masters at one point, the following is doable.

Take two MM heroes with the same builds that include Jagged Bones, Animate Bone Horror and Animate Shambling Horror

Disable the Minion skills from Hero 2 and let Hero 1 raise about 3-4 minions of any kind.

Disable Hero 1's Minion skills and let Hero 2 raise about 3 or 4

Once this is achieved, disabling Animate Bone Horror and keeping only Animate Shambling Horror

Between your two heroes, Jagged Bones [e], Animate Shambling Horror and Blood of the Master, you can feasably create an army of 20 Shambling Horror/Jagged Horror Mix

Very fun

There is good MM builds said already so i don't post them...

You ask about MM in ab before, don't take res to ab because you'll be resurrected soon after dying so you don't need res in ab. Take some other skill instead.

I haven't played an MM since heroes have come into play.
The build my hero is running currently (ok it does require other campaigns) but still.

Death Magic: 12+3+1
Soul Reaping: 9+1
Inspiration Magic: 9

[skill]Animate Bone Horror[/skill][skill]Animate BOne Fiend[/skill][skill]Jagged Bones[/skill][skill]BLood of the master[/skill][skill]Leech Signet[/skill][skill]Signet of Lost Souls[/skill][skill]Mantra of Inscriptions[/skill][skill]Resurrection Signet[/skill].

This build has done me favors all round and keeps 10 minions without breaking a sweat or energy problems.
It's not resilient on its own so monks are required.

Quite similar to what I run on my Olias. However, I use Death Nova with it.

[card]Animate Bone Minions[/card][card]Animate Shambling Horror[/card][card]Jagged Bones[/card][card]Blood of the Master[/card][card]Leech Signet[/card][card]Signet of Lost Souls[/card][card]Mantra of Inscriptions[/card][card]Resurrection Signet[/card]

I think that's what I run. It's nice in Hard Mode, with minions dying fast.

I would use Power Drain instead of Mantra of Inscriptions, but that may just be me.
Anyways..

I use Shambling Horrors and Animate Bone Fiends cuz Ensign told me to.
I like to use the leftover points from not maxing soul reaping into either Curses or Earth Prayers.
Mark of Pain is pretty dang hot..
Or Barbs in places where there's more single hard enemies.

Oh and Vital Boon is retarded on a minion master. Your whole build is built around health sacrificing.
Ideally you wouldn't even be using a vigor rune. Aura of the Lich just makes it even better.
