I only just started a rit, so I am not an expert, but I did for example something like this:
[skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill][skill]Nightmare Weapon[/skill][skill]Bloodsong[/skill][skill]Pain[/skill][skill]Spirit Burn[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Spirit Rift[/skill][skill]Flesh of My Flesh[/skill]
I don't have elites yet, so that is why non is in. It is probably not the most brilliant and most thought through build, but it was nice to play. I used this in Kaineng/Marketplace, on most of the "Fedex" quests.

[skill]Spirit Rift[/skill][skill]Gaze from beyond[/skill][skill]Essence Strike[/skill][skill]Spirit Burn[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]offering of spirit[/skill][skill]Bloodsong[/skill][skill]death pact signet[/skill]
This what I run when I want to spam thunder damage spells.
I usually run this as a duo with Razah, giving him [skill]destruction[/skill] instead of [skill]Bloodsong[/skill]

Here is a few Templates i pulled for ya. All pure rit builds... I have had pretty good sucess and fun with em! Ain't the most efficient nor most powerful builds, but can be quite fun.
Just go to your templates folder ... (\Guild Wars\templates\skills)... open a random *.txt file, delete the text in that file, copy one of the template codes below and past it in that file, then **SAVE AS** and name it as the template name you want. You should then see it in game...
OACjEOiMJPGXHXyEjxNn2EzLGA - Attuned Was Songkai - Channeling build
OACjAihqIPQ7kpjz4WwkmRTAAA - Caretaker's Charge - Channeling/Restoration Hybrid
OACjEiiMpOXulpj74yNHnlzLGA - Offering of Spirit/Life - Channeling/Restoration Hybrid
Hope they work out for ya!
Lemme know if u have any Q's or want more builds, i got more, but i cant remember which ones are which... lol
cheers.

Try this?
16 Channeling
12 Restoration
6 Wilderness Survival
Offering of Spirit [E]
Spirit Burn (or other optional really, you're pretty busy)
Spirit Rift
Ancestor's Rage
Splinter Weapon
Protective Was Kaolai
Bloodsong
Serpent's Quickness
Basically you want to use SQ to crank up the rate of using your skills. Try to keep splinter up on as many attackers as possible, use ancestor's rage off them as available, Spirit Rift on enemy clusters and drop the Protective Was Kaolai when needed as a party heal. Adds substantially to damage output of a multi-attacker group, especially if you get some decent clumping happening.

Heres a good offensive rit build that I use. (Im lvl 17.)
12 communing, 0 restoration, 4 channeling, 8 spawning power
On your action bar you should have:
Boon of Creation
Mighty was Vorizun
Painful Bond
Bloodsong
Pain
Shadowsong
Dissonance
Resurrection Signet
The key to this build are the abilities Boon of Creation and Mighty was Vorizun. Boon of Creation gives you energy and health whenever you cast a binding ritual (summon a spiritt) and Mighty was Vorizun gives you extra armor and energy. So you can have enough energy to summon all you spirits at the same time and use Boon of Creation to negate any damage done to you while summoning your spirits. After you summon spirits step back and cast painful bond so your spirits do added damage. Try to stay out of harms way because you rely on your healer for resurrecting you. Keep summoning spirits whenever they cooldown. This build has worked very well for me in PvP and PvE and is very good for spamming spirits.

Hmm, as much as I love my spirit builds, I have to say the most fun I've ever had as a rit is as a Spirit's Strength assassin. Granted, I don't recommend this build for PvE or serious PvP. It's more of a Alliance Battle/Random Arenas build, for those times when you just feel like having some fun.
The template: OAej0tgGJPdvEmCDZrsnnTQAAA
Use should be pretty obvious, the last slot can either be a res sig (for RA) or Shadow Walk (for AB). Shadow Walk really increases your survivability, use it to Shadow Step to your opponent, if things go bad, hit Dash and you're thrown out of range of attackers with a speed boost.

yea, ive been recently running the spirits stregnth, splinter weapon, volley, with pve only skill "i am the strongest." i found it to be very usefull in dungeons, but not much use for it out in the explorable areas. when outside i just spam nightmare weapon, and tripleshot.
i usually run blodsong with spirit burn, gaze from beyond, and essence strike. you can spam those three almost continuossly. but with change to spirit burn it is useless against the destroyers.
but all proffesions, you can pretty much throw a bunch of crap together and still have fun with it.

[skill]Spirit Rift[/skill][skill]Arcane Echo[/skill][skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill][skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill][skill]Anguished Was Lingwah[/skill][skill]Offering of Spirit[/skill][OPTIONAL][REZ OF CHOICE]
So many people neglect Arcane Echo. Dual Ancestors' Rages going off on the main tank, supplemented by Spirit Rifts and Splinter Weapons on accompanying folks? Bye-bye.
I bring Anguished was Lingwah because I like being able to wait until things in a fight are settled before putting my spirit up. I normally cast the spell as soon as a fight finishes, and then I'll just run to the next fight holding the ashes. It speeds up the time between the start of the fight and when I get to start zapping stuff. The spirit's not even that important, mainly just fuel for a sacrifice-free Offering of Spirit.
As far as the optional slot goes, that's up to you. I like having "Finish Him!" there, as I'm pretty much in love with it. Pain Inverter is a sweet skill to have there as well. If you find yourself constantly low on energy (OoS moar!), you can even put Essence Strike in there for assurance that you'll never run low on the blue stuff.
Everyone has their own idea of which rez is the best; I'm not one to intrude.
But yeah, I have a lot of fun with this build. I only wish that I could SEE the damage output I put out when I spam two Ancestors' Rages on the tank! As far as I know now, HE gets to see all the damage coming from them. Sorta not fun for me, but guildies go nuts over it on Vent, so I guess it can't be too bad.
-------
As far as other "fun" builds, I like taking a simple [skill]Barrage[/skill][skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill] into dungeons (you can finish off the build however you want; I normally bring Ancestors' Rage, Spirit Rift, Pain Inverter, "Finish Him", a Rez, among other dungeon-specific spells). With a solid tank, it's hysterical to see the damage fly.

Probably one of the simpler builds out there, it's a 16/13 channeling/spawning configuration. It should be versatile enough that you can use the weapon spells on yourself or on others to supplement damage and in the case of nightmare weapon, provide some relief to the monks. It also allows for you to carry items while still contributing to the party in a mid line support role yet dish out some damage.
[skill]barrage[/skill][skill]splinter weapon[/skill][skill]dual shot[/skill][skill]nightmare weapon[/skill][skill]ancestors' rage[/skill][skill]essence strike[/skill][skill]bloodsong[/skill][skill]death pact signet[/skill]
Against clustered mobs, the combination of barrage and splinter weapon (SW) can be devastating. Dual/triple shot with nightmare weapon (NW) and Ancestor's Rage (AR) can provide decent spike damage. Bloodsong adds both another damage dealer and a point of energy regeneration when used with Essence Strike. Death Pact Signet provides a cheap resurrect.
Unused weapon spells, either NW or SW can be placed on direct damage dealers such as tanks, dervishes, rangers, assassins and if you are really bored and/or tired, minions. Likewise, AR can be used on anyone that is taking hits from melee/touchers or is in close proximity to casters.
As far as bows go, I tend to go with flatbows, allowing my clunky char to act as a puller as needed in addition to shooting over rocks and hitting targets at long range. Recurves and hornbows can be used, since spell casts can require movement that puts you within their range. Another solid choice would be a longbow. I avoid shortbows at all costs since I prefer not to be that close to the action.
I have recently modified the build I run on a regular basis, removing triple shot and adding in Agony to assist with close in targets. This is largely due to the number of melee foes *cough*raptors*cough* that seem to run straight to the mid and back lines, providing the meleer a non fleshy target and a cheap way of inflicting some degenerative damage (-10 per sec per foe within earshot).
Cheers,
TB

If you want a pretty fun healing build try this. Its an offensive Defense You get to save your allies while dealing damage to foes.
Restoration Magic:...15 (11+1+3)
Protection Prayers:..10
Smiting Prayers:......10
[skill]Weapon of Remedy[/skill] [skill]Vengeful Weapon[/skill] [skill]Reversal of Damage[/skill] [skill]Reversal of Fortune[/skill] [skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill] [skill]Soothing Memories[/skill] [skill]Resilient Weapon[/skill] [skill]Wielder's Boon[/skill]
You could take out soothing memories for a rez or use [skill]Reverse Hex[/skill]
You could also go the same route but do take out the prot and healing prayer skills and put the attribute points into channeling, [skill]Ancestors' Rage[/skill] or [skill]Spirit Rift[/skill] or [skill]Splinter Weapon[/skill] would work great going along with the "weapon theme" [skill]Nightmare Weapon[/skill] would go good too.
