what runes should i be using and what insignia should i be using?

Radiant Insignias, minor dagger, critical strikes, and deadly arts runes.

But I wouldn't use this in pve, it's a pvp build.

It doesn't matter where you do what part, so long as you have them all.

Generally speaking though, if you're going to have a mask of something, use the same type of rune there.

Radiant Insignias on EVERY part of the armor (mask, chest, arms, leggings, boots)

If you use that build, it states you should use a mask that already has a Dagger Mastery +1 attrib with it. Then you apply the minor dagger mastery rune to that mask. Always place a rune with it's matching headgear (dagger rune with dagger mask, critical strikes rune with critical strikes mask, etc.)

I suggest a vigor rune as well. I usually place those on the chest piece as I will always have the rune in my armor.

Minor Critical Strikes and Minor Deadly Arts runes can go on the arms, the leggings, or the boots. If you don't plan on switching sets of armor, then you can put it wherever you want. Otherwise, put it on the boots and arms. The reasoning for that is that you can switch the runes out with another piece of armor that doesn't cost as much to craft rather than always reapplying a rune to one piece of armor.

For clarification, I can have a set of gloves with minor dagger mastery if my mask is NOT dagger mastery attributed. I can have another set of gloves with, iunno, Deadly Arts if I use a mask with dagger mastery instead.

Edit:

You have the option of adding a Vitae rune or an Attunement rune as you have one piece of armor that does not have a rune in it. Up to you :O Or you can top it off with a minor shadow arts if you put in a self heal.

i meant that he dosnt get that this is not a PvE build. PvE monsters do not require that much damage to kill and its way to long in between targets to be useful.

unnecessary. you only need 25 energy to start the combo. the rest follows easily after bls. 28-30e should be fine.

I suggest no armor, but if you need armor for that build go with core armor with all superior runes, you should get the same result running that build in PvE then if you had the best armor.

i was only repeating what the build itself said xD; I never even use it.

But I use radiant on everything anyway cos i'm an energy hog :x

so yeah, stop bashing the build (i do it too so i know how you feel..it's so overused...) and maybe actually try to grit the teeth and help the dude with the actual question of equipment help? o_O If he wants another build, then fine, but that's not the question at hand o_o;
