Progressive gold farming nowadays
Progressive gold farming is a term i used to name those farmings that give you profits in a progressive mode, such as anguish gemstone farming (which is the farming i prefer and use), oppossing those that give you large amounts of gold between large gaps of time, like high-end goldens.
I used to farm torment gemstones, that gave me about 20k in 1,5 hours with the E/A build, but, since GW:EN came out, trying to trade those gems is really painful.
UW doesn't seem to reach a good profit too since the price of ectos got so low and due to the fact of losing 1k each time you make a mistake.
Farming for craps in trolls, minotaurs or other areas has no sense since drop cap.
I have been looking in lots of forums, asked ppl in game and still lost. I can't find a place giving the same amount of gold per hour for my Ele, and wouldn't like to have to wait for HM in GW:EN to find it.
Any ideas out there?

If you want money, farm the collectables like Destroyer Cores or Glacial Stones. But the easiest way imo is too just play the game lol, Dunno, do a few dungeons every now and again, get into a team and do a Foundry run, Do a complete, 8Man clear UW team... Just play the game and hope for the best.... works for me anwyays ^_^

Get all your characters through Nightfall then every 30 days collect those Treasure Chests, if you have five characters through nightfall thats an easy 100K + 20-30+ gold items every month for free basically. (Yea you have to wait every 30 days but its free money). Also, just try farming whatevers hot, for instance Destroyer cores and Glacial Stones are hot right now even the Mini moa birds are selling 50k+ for about an hour worth of work.
Also you can stock up on Halloween/ Christmas collectables for about 20g per right now then sell them when the event goes life for 100g+ per. (Example Singed Gargoyle Skulls)
Give the people what they want and alot of it basically.
Strike that there are 12 Treasure chests that each of your characters can get so 100k+ a max of 60 golds items/gems (rarely purples)

Hulking eles outside Sanitarium on HM have been nice to my ele. A few hours last night, made 20k, a black dye, two lockpicks, 150 granite slabs, 20 charcoal, and 8 golds. For how easy it is, its a great farm. Dont even need an elite skill :-p

I just got all of the treasures (knew about them, just was too lazy)
And made about 25k in cash, plus a few inscriptions+mods and a nice gemstone hammer which I'm learning is worthless.

I've only ever opened two of those treasure chests ... both with my Assassin.... and both entirely by accident.
One was in Nightfallen Jahai. As for the other, it was somewhere in Vabbi that I don't rightly remember.
Do the free chests give better loot in Hard Mode or not?

Seconded. You can kill about 30 in under 7 minutes. There are also two bosses, Cobble Poundstone and Flint Touchstone, included. I have gotten a lot of reg warrior tomes, a couple of elite war tomes, two passage scrolls, a lot of req. 9 inscr swords, and a good bit of dye. They hand out money pretty well, also.

Any hints on the build?
They're too spaced out to silver armor, is it a fire based build?

I have trouble doing those icon thingies, but here:
Balthazar's Aura
Stoneflesh AUra
Armor of Earth
Glyph of Elemental Power
Meteor Shower
Incendiary Bonds
Phoenix
Flame dijnn's Haste
You do the attack spells in the order listed. If you do it right, the second meteor shower, the Incendiary Bonds, and the Phoenix should hit at the same time. The boosted stats top it off. There is at least one thread I know of that spells this out in greater detail. Not my build, I'm a moocher.

There you have it. Note that the skill icon of Armor of Earth is screwed up and uses the icon of Kinetic Armor.
Are you sure it isn't Balthazar's Spirit? If it is:

Yes, it is Spirit, not Aura. Memory not so good today.
