Default Critical Hits

I have a question about not just the critical strikes attribute but critical hits in general. What exactly does a critical hit do? It does more damage obviously, but can it be defined how much extra. Is it multiplied or added? If it is multiplied is this extra damage multiplied to only the base damage or the total damage(attack skills)? Any weapon considered in this thread but i thought an assassin would be more knowledeable about it>

~Thanks~

Defined as root(2) times the maximum damage of the weapon. Then add on attack skill bonus. Use the search function or post it in the Q&A section.

http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Critical_hit oh noes I had to search very hard and very long but I finally found it! I'm such a pro!

The damage a crithit does = the normal max damage of a weapon + 4 attribute levels. 16 dm crit hit = 20 dm max hit
