Prot spirit is used hugely in PvE and PvP to counter spikes. Now if they nerfed it it would A. make it impossible to do hard mode because of spikes and B. make it so PvP is nothing but who can spike who first. That is unless you bring 2 prot monks, which is a waste of a character slot.

Also if they do keep some of those nerfs permanently then i bet a LOT of people would quit GW.

This is wrong.
First of all, they never said they were anti-farming. So unless you can prove otherwise, its not fact. Go ahead, click on the link.
Second, yes, skills will be nerfed. Some of them are used in farming. Duh.
Third. loot scaling was an anti-botting measure. I can link you to four or five Gaile threads in which she mentions them as such, but I think it's common knowledge.

Gaile has commented, or relayed the comment, that they hadn't considered how this armour stacking cap would affect some pve builds and the intention was to reduce passive defense in pvp (as suspected). Simply having forgotten about the pve builds using this is laughable and I don't really believe but anyway, she message seemed to suggest they are already having second thoughts.

Well it means for my W/Me spider farmer will drop 'Watch Yourself' for something else. Maybe another attack or 'I Will Survive'.

Meh not bad.
Nice to see Mesmer get some buffs.
Arcane Conundrum + Cry of Frustration will be used a lot I'm sure

Mesmers will spam Ether Feast a lot
Frustration + Power Spike will hit for near 160 on casters, or the occassional melee/ranged that uses a fairly slow enchant spell.

Meh stoneflesh eles ... 5...15 @ what, 15 attribute?
So probably be 16 @ 16?
If it stays 15sec recharged, farming will still work.
Shockwave is 5 seconds quicker, that's nice for doing certain areas.

Arcane Conundrum is bad enough as it is now...especially for a monk, cause it drains energy so fast it's not even funny, especially when I got paired against 2 Migraine Mesmers, 1 Arcane Conundrum Mesmer, and ZB in RA. Stacked Migraine repeatedly + a few thrown in Arcane's is NOT a good combo <_<...also, like you said, I too can see MANY Arcane Conundrum + Cry of Frustration Mesmers popping up..oooh the nightmares. In my eyes, I could see it being used on me right now...Example... Arcane Conundrum -> Cry of Frustration -> Arcane Conundrum = Drained Energy -> Interrupted -> Drained Energy -> "You do not have enough energy!" >_<. when i versed the Team mentioned above in RA, it took 2 Migraines, and 2 or 3 Arcane's and my energy was dropped to dead 0, and then the arcaner ECHOS it and casts it on me, then stacks it and repeats, keeping my energy down until she was distracted. I will never forget that day..

I think you're pretty confused. Panic is edenial, ether phantom+drain delusions is edenial, power leak is edenial. Conundrum and Migraine just make you cast slower, and migraine+conundrum is pretty stupid as they don't stack about +150% so you'd be better off with frustration+migraine or conundrum. CoFs only really good for pve and to a lesser extent spike preventation, not 4v4. Or when you say drained energy do you just mean you wasted the cast?

As for stoneflesh aura; ((15-5)*16/15)+5=47/3. If they round down it's 15 seconds, if it's nearest it's 16. Either way this gets a major nerf for anyone trying to use stoneflesh aura who isn't an earth ele, though there's glyph of elemental power to help out if necessary.

A : I don't think people care about your build which you will never post.
B : Don't mention it, its freaking selfish
Ofcourse I share the builds, I don't use them myself I just love to do things for the community.

OT:

We'll always find a build to farm, even with all those nerfs. They nerf armor boosting? Why not evade the attacks? Warrior builds will still come after the (possible) nerf. As I've mentioned again: Farming will never be dead.

Try to use your brain next time, and read/quote my whole post.

I mentioned the fact that I have a private build for 2 reasons: to show context that farming will continue no matter what ANet does, and to advocate keeping builds secret.

In my opinion, you specifically are one of the biggest causes of skill nerfs. You post your builds all over the place and everyone starts using them. ANet themselves have said that they watch trends, and make changes to encourage out-side-the-box thinking...

Here's a suggestion, in case you cant read between the lines of what i am saying: STOP POSTING YOUR BUILDS SO THAT THEY DONT BECOME WIDELY OVER-USED, ALLOWING PEOPLE CAN THINK FOR THEMSELVES!!

Alright, now you're insulting me. You're saying that I don't use my brains? I just think its selfish that you don't post your builds IF you're mentioning that you have them. You can better say: "I won't share builds because I think A-net will nerf it!" but don't say you've them or something like that but that's just my opinion.

I didn't quote your whole post because I agrees with the first part..but so what?

I love to post my builds because of all the nice responses I get. I don't get money for it. I don't get other things for it. (expect for one person) but I still post them for the community. Why? Because many people need them more than I do right?

OT: There are also some good changes. I love the skill changes for Mesmers and Necro's.

I really can't think of any of Witte's builds that don't work anymore do to an obvious nerf.
And Witte, I already had to use Armor of Earth, Dolyak, and Watch yourself to reduce damage to a manageable level while under Gladiators Defense. Admittedly, I was using a permanent Glad's build, so the best healing I had was Heal Sig, but still.
The reason I used to like this game so much was that I could easily create my own farming builds for any area. Not so anymore. I hope someone releases another warrior build quickly, as I have no idea which way to go...

Gotta love people like this!

"Rawr Rawr Rawr I have a build that is so awesome and it can solo everything! I'd just thought I'd let you know that I'm awesome, because I'm not telling you guys this build, ever!"

Meh, it probably can't even farm NM bugs!

ouch, sort of ironic since the only PvE characters I have are an ele and a warrior, oh well, goodbye PvE chars

@splatter
Quite honestly, it doesn't really matter if witte's builds get nerfed (no offense). They are not for profit, they are for challenges. Likewise, I doubt ANet cares if everyone is doing some amazing thing solo if it is dead slow and isn't breaking the economy (like sweat shop farming builds)

Not too bad really, if you can't adapt to changes, you aren't really a good farmer.
