Sliver armor as your ONLY damage spell?
Have you even tried that? Because I'm pretty sure you haven't.
BTW: LMAO at healing hands as an elite. You take what, 25 minutes to kill 4 vermin?
I'm using:
Vengeful Was Khanhei
Arcane Echo
Vengeful Weapon(Not very useful)
Resilient Weapon
Mend B&S
Resilient Was Xiko
Physical Resistance
Channeling
16 rest, 12 insp
Cast resillient weapon, channeling, psys res and echo b4 aggro, VwK just as the first vermin hits you,
Mend b&s when life is low, RwX in the end to remove bleed/poison.

Here is another tip:
Since they are Assassin, they do either Piercing or Slashing damage. Get Yourself a shield with +10AR vs Piercing or vs Slashing, it will do wonders

So, um, I take it nobody else runs [wiki]Weapon of Shadow[/wiki] to cover when VwK is down? I just cast right as Vwk is ending, and wait about 4 seconds after VwK is recharged before casting it again, it pretty much eliminates the need to spam heal, even on bossy bossy. Obviously them being blind and VwK don't mix, so just don't overlap them. Yes, it's about 15% slower, but safer... also works if you feel the need to um, retreat...

I've tried W. of shadow with some success.
@Squalus: I can keep VwK up for 31 seconds, 41s if I trigger the 36% half recharge from offhand+wand(in any of the 3 castings), and it does 37 damage to ALL the vermin hitting me. You say sliver armor is the same or quicker?

Hmm, W of shadow does seem to be hit or miss now that I try a little more. I must've gotten lucky a few times... The rest of the vermin are no problem on a Rt/Me, perhaps spirit shackles will help, hmm.

If you want an earth ele build this one works ok, i used it just to see what drops were like in hard mode, energy is tricky you just gotta minimise overlaps.
Glyph of Renewal, Sliver Armor, Stonefelsh Aura, Mystic Regen, Fleeting Stability, Earth Attunement, Glyph of Lesser Energy.
Yeh thats 7 skills, take armor of earth if you wanna kill the boss, only use it against him tho, everything else gits for 0's on stoneflesh
Its extra safe aswel, cant really die unless you spam skills and run out of energy

The Rt/D version has given me the least headaches, but is a little more robotic to get used to. It may work better for some, or worse... its just an option
12 Earth Prayers
16 Restoration
[skill]Vengeful was Khanhei[/skill] [skill]Blind was Mingson[/skill] [skill]Mend Body and Soul[/skill] [skill]Fleeting Stability[/skill] [skill]Resilient Weapon[/skill] [skill]Conviction[/skill] [skill]Faithful Intervention[/skill]
I tried an eighth skill (mystic regen/Soothing), but it required way too much energy to pull off. I use a recharge offhand and a recharge wand (chkkr's)
Timing is:
1) Fleeting/Resilient during aggro
2) VwK as first one hits
3) Wait 10 secs
3a) If VwK recharged, use again
3b) If not, cast blind was ming and instantly drop it.
4) Recast fleeting and resilient.
5) Wait 10 secs
6) Repeat from step 2 with VwK
Your healing will occur during step 5. I usually only need to heal once during this time. Using conviction isn't required, but helps a lot if you can't get a 20% recharge, or don't want to buy emissary's armor. It does require you to watch your energy just a bit more, though
Note: this build runs out of energy after a few cycles, depending on your equipment. However, if you run out of energy something didn't go right. Remember theres no point in taking on more than 1 group of vermin (you can usually manage depending on how lucky you get with half recharges and energy usage). I won't get into it now, but you actually take just as long to kill 2 groups at once than 1 group at a time.
Let me know how your Rt/D trials go

its pretty rough in HM. The cyclone/triple requires a lot of them to be around you, in HM they warp out so much with heart of shadow, etc... I've done it, but it requires a lot defense, thus crippling your kill rate by way too much to make it worth while
