I cannot believe I searched the entire Ranger forum and did not find a single Thumper build here (yes, I even used the search function).

Would you be so kind as to post a few thumper builds here should you know of them...?

Thanks Mokone, Ima look into that one... I been toying with a few builds and found once I really like that uses my faithful pet Goten...

My build uses Enraged smash, and Crushing blow for DW, then another one that does big damage to weak foes... so yeah... all good hey...

Just for your info you can use [skill]Devasting Hammer[/skill] instead of [skill]Rampage as One[/skill] and just use [skill]Tiger's Furry[/skill]

People used that build only with [skill]Ferocious Strike[/skill] instead of [skill]Enraged Lunge[/skill] before Nigthfall was realesed. RaO is a much better choise.

RaO thumpers are devastating when played well. People who say it sucks either never saw one in action or saw a noob spamming RaO with a dead pet.

hmmm, I'm not so keen on RaO hey, that 25e cost is dawnting... I use Beastial Fury (sept it dont effect my pet)...

I got my build prettyy tricked now, I use Irres Blow, Dev Hammer, Crushing Blow then heavy or Fierc Blow (depends on mood - heavy adds more KD and fierce adds huge damage)... For defense I have Beastial, Lightning R, Throw Dirt and Charm Animal...

The build works great, it's only lacking a speed booster, but I make up for that by keeping my target on his back... hahahaha

Yep, thats the older, worse build.
the 25e tag on RaO doesn't matter too much, since every thumper build has oner 10 expertise anyway.

Btw, I run Expertise at 10+1+2 and Beast Mastery at 8+1 for full cover of RaO costing 12e a pop+attacks at 2e. Its not cheap, but it *is* awesome. Oh if you're not facing much blocking(you are in RA though, from Guardian and Whirling Defense/sin skills) you can take "For Great Justice!", Mighty, Distracting or Wild blows instead of Irresistible.
Full Radiant etc. Bestial Mauling is nice but I've been using Disrupting Lunge more lately. More spammable and tends to piss off people trying to Res(you don't even need to kd the dude, just throw the pet at him and spam disrupting)

Cool cool dude... Ima try it out and see the diff for myself. I have considered adding a pet attack into the mix so maybe this is a good build to have a bash with...

One other possible thumper build is to use Magehunter strike and Prot strike Spam instead of an IAS, I tried it out and it worked nicely, a good alternative to using a pet. just use 12 hammer and 16 expertise and the spam is easy.
