So.. yea. (Emperor Daso) Message me in game if you got any suggestions. This build is Proph Only so... yea, I know it could be better with Facs or NF skills stirred in.

I got a suggestion: Try a dark aura build.
Another one: Forget Life Transfer exists.

I find life transfer to be really bad in PvE since the recharge is horrible, and if the thing you just cast it on dies, you've just wasted your elite skill.

To use Life Transfer, you should have something that reduces recharge time (weapon, off-hand, serpents of quickness, etc).

drop vampiric touch and get life siphon
drop barbed signet for faster recharge skill (if available).

Add in Awaken the Blood and Well of Power [E] and drop Life Transfer [E] and Vampiric Touch, this keep u at a good range from targets, stop u running out of energy so fast and give u a good increase in damage and self healing.

Personally id drop blood renewal for strip Enchantment too to give u a enchant removal and a good conditional self healing skill.

I had a PvE build (that worked OK with a decent RA/TA group) with a Mesmer secondary that used Arcane Echo to mirror Life Transfer. It works better in PvE on large targets (lv24+) than in PvP on players, providing you with a near-constant retarded amount of health regen (well beyond +10 when mirrored, so you're clear even during burning).

I'm sure there's better ways to tackle it, but it was fun. I still pull it out every now and again when people ask for focused degen in PuGs. I used Life Siphon (I think I'm getting the name of that right.. the non-elite Life Transfer) and Parasitic Bond to cover. The trick was to cast the echoed LT first, then cast the original only after the mirrored copy is halfway recharged. LS is only needed if you get under heavy fire/conditions.

No, that is the best way to tackle it for sure. Now compare it to this:
[skill]parasitic bond[/skill]+[skill]toxic chill[/skill]+[skill]vile miasma[/skill]
Then parasitic again for cover. Thats 9 degen with a recharge of 15(total; you can just spam parasitic+tox every 5 seconds).
No mesmer secondary, no "OH CRAP he got rid of it", and a bunch of damage to go with it.
Life transfer is horrendous. If it did say, 100 dmg when you placed it, or had 20 sec recharge, it might be useful.

That combo doesn't offer the regen half of Lfe Transfer... but I agree, Life Transfer's cost, cooldown, and casting time make it a horrendous spell for the most part. I vote more for the lowered recharge than the initial spike, but I concur that it's something I almost never use nowadays since I've discovered other degen combinations that are a bit more flexible.

High end pve = lvl20+ enemies with really high hp so use this...
[skill]Spoil Victor[/skill]

Don't forget it's effective against enemy monks too.

Note that he only has Prophecies.
_____

I used to use LT in my build it was a degen/spike build and I've learned from my mistake. LT blows it's recharge sucks and if anything has a hex removal it's really bad. It has a strength in some instances mainly RA but if it's interrupted you are dead. And if you only have Proph I would try to make a SS build. It's better for PvE. Not too many good blood elites in Prophecies tbh.

Shank... my build sometimes has Final Thrust (yea, default is N/W) cause I use the Ogre-Slaying Knife and an Off-Hand with the same skin.
...Anyways, this is touching... no enchants and no Wells that work in one area temporarily. Fave Elite? Post it. All spellcaster favor...ers, 5e cost ¥ <1sec cast ¥ <15sec recharge.
