Cid, you kill the Avicara with your heroes/henchies so they won't follow you at all (because they'll be dead!)
Anyways I gave this build a go (with only 1 hero which made it extremely hard). I was able to complete it!
I reached the cave with a 60% dp and figured I was screwed. But even with 98 health and 11 energy I was able clear out the entire cave! Simply amazing!
Unfortunately no IDS drop for me... but maybe next time!

Would someone mind linking to a thread with the run to the cave posted in it? I'm gonna try to hunt it down in the meantime.

Is it correct that this build uses 1 superior rune, and two major runes?

I ran to the eastern collector (near the rez portal) with my monk two days ago w/o any problems whatsoever.
The Avaicara did not follow me and broke aggro when I used a Speed Boost.
I was using Rush.

Thank you very much for this build!
This build allowed me to get my first Icy Dragon Sword:
I practied a few times outside of Ice Caves of Sorrow and once I got the rythm down, it's a piece of cake.
I did add flail instead of pentrating blow. As long as you make sure not to cancel out Warrior's Endurance with it, it makes the killing much quicker. I actually died three times before getting to the caves, but it didn't matter. If you were careful you could probably run this build on 10 HP.
Livingston
Note: You could easily replace one of the attack skills with sprint.

I thought they fixed a bug that caused everything to follow you forever
I think I read it on guildwiki
And I don't have a W but I'm wondering what is a SoA monk

GREAT build, simple but very effective. As long as you pay attention you're safe. Man those Icy Dragon Swords look very nice as a goldie.
Thanks again (got my first IDS!)

Judging by the lack of a speed boost, I'm guessing fight there
