as far as i remember doing the event quests is the most profitable way to farm them....

doing the first two quests over and over again on new chars was fastest last year. Make a new char, do the 'have a hench' quest to get a monastery* token, trade it at the quartermaster for an xp scroll, sell the scroll for 100g, open storage, do quests, delete char, repeat.

I don't know anywhere in particular right now but it's a case of quantity over quality. Find somewhere (easy or hard - it doesn't matter) with lots of creatures that you can steamroll. Go solo too, they aren't loot-scaled.

What's that comment in relation to? Rollerbeetle, dragons den or something? I found rollerbeetle quite effective but slow if you don't win.

Btw, the making new characters one probably wouldn't work, the first quest requires you to make quite a trip so it wouldn't be worth it...

do all quests on as many characters as you can i.e. my 9 chars got me 2169 tokens.
or find a mate with a spare char slot and let him make a canthan char and except the quest. your lv 20 char runs the quests (i found derv, sin, rager and warrior quickest). once all questst done he gives u tokens for storage and makes another char until you wanna stop then split tokens |
