Hi, recently I been trying to farm some IDSs by using Remmeh's build for Mo/W but I kept on failin to even reach Mineral Springs....

I keep on dying when I face the Ice golems....
migh anyone have an idea why Im a sore looser that cannot even go to Mineral Springs?
Or if you have a video guide that shows how to get there by using a 55 monk that would be awsome (i remember seeing one video that showed how to famr IDS and it also showed how to get there and all the details)

Have you tried using henchies/heroes? take them with you all the way, until you reach the ice imps. Once there just use them to clear away any unwanted tengues/golems and then use your "green flag" to send them far far away. Their names should be in grey. Then you can start your solo farm and still get all the drops.

EDIT: carry a set of non-55 armour with. so you dont have to run around worrying if ur enchants get stripped or now. Then put ur 55 set of armour on when u start to farm.

I recently farmed IDS with this build (Actually I'm listening to the song on the video right now, it's catchy). The videos are on the same page as the build. She also dies at the ice golems, but she gets far enough that she spawns at the res point just ahead. I just do the same. Just change your -50 grim to a -20 divine symbol from the Poor Tenant. (13 health)

If you're still checking this post anyways. BTW you're not a loser for dying at those. They're with a heretic (Baaad news for 55s) and its practically insta kill. Just get far enough down that choke point. Sometimes more guys will camp out on res altar (cheaters).

If you want, you can just kill the Ice golems instead of running past them. It only takes a minute or so to kill them. You can kill the heretic too, they aren't that bad. Shatter is on a 25 second recharge so you just have to make sure nothing critical is on top when it comes, PS is the only thing you NEED, everything else can be reapplied after a few seconds. If the degen is getting you, just swap to higher health...they aren't exactly fast attackers.

If it is still causing you trouble, change to hard mode (I am serious) so that everyone attacks faster and SoJ triggers more often. Everything dies about twice as fast in HM, but you have to be more careful of the Heretic because their Shatter comes around twice as fast also...Even so, the only place that you can't solo in HM is the big pile of Heretics near the portal and the center (you can't quite solo vanquish the area).

I really prefer using the Mo/D build instead of the Mo/W setup for this though. /D still gives you running skills and makes it so you don't have to spec healing at all. Either way, the only place you will probably die often (when you get the hang of it) is right near the portal when there is 3 or 4 heretics all on you at the same time, just make sure they don't camp the shrine.
