Default Killing mobs before a boss?

Does killing something before killing a boss still improve your chances of getting the green? Or has that system been removed along with the anti-farming code?

I was farming Dunshek earlier today as someone wanted to buy his green for 10k. However for half an hour and almost 30 runs he didn't drop anything, not a green, scrolls, or tomes. Most of the time he dropped nothing, occasionally a stack of gold coins or a white item.
Then one run I popped an insect spawn on the way so I aggro'd him like usually and put SF up. I then hit Sliver Armor instead of Death's Charge by accident and it took one of the warrior insects out. I jumped to the boss and killed him after the warrior died, and he dropped a UW Scroll and Black Dye.
Went after him again next run, popped another mob and killed the Dune Beetle Queen before going after Dunshek. He dropped his green and a FoW scroll.

Does this system still exist, where killing something before killing the boss improves your chances of getting the green? I thought it was removed along with the anti-farming code, but I would like some confirmation.

It does work.

Nonetheless, sometimes takes lots of runs, others just 2 or 3 for the same boss drop his green.

Make sure ur henchman/heroes are greyed out.

Killing something before the boss has NO effect on anything. All that matters is whos around when it DIES.

So, all you have to do is....

1. Kill everything else off with your heros/henchmen until only the boss remains, and he CAN be lower health. ( I'd suggest 1/3 health)

2. Flag your heros away. Make sure their names are greyed out.

3. Finish the boss off yourself. The green is all yours.

------------

So in conclusion, you could kill everything around the boss and it wouldn't change your chances in any way. Your chances change with your heros/henchmen are around. Thats it.

Closed.
