^^

Why not invent some of your own "secrets" and make your own build since you can't find anyone else's build?

People, some originality, please.

Since you asked specifically for a healer, I'm gonna try an get a build together. I think optimally for the elite missions the teams would do best having a healing monk, a prot monk (not a boon/prot, but maybe a prot with boon who can help heal if needed), and a backup monk (like a Me/Mo or N/Mo or anything with 4 pips of energy regen to use heal party sporadically).

I'll post a duo monk build below the healer in case you wanna try that one out.

Healing Light / Word of Healing
Heal Other / Jamei's Gaze
Healing Seed
Heal Party
Healing Touch
Power Drain / Inspired Hex
Drain Enchantment / Revealed Hex
Rebirth

for your energy management skills either use both Inspired Hex and Revealed Hex or combo them with your prefferred e management.

Here's the duo build:

Mo/Me and Mo/Me

Mo/Me Prot-

1.) Reversal of Fortune
2.) Guardian
3.) Mend Ailment / Mend Condition
4.) Protective Spirit / Aegis / Boon
5.) Air of Enchantment {e} / Life Sheath
6.) Power Drain
7.) Drain Enchantment
8.) Rebirth

Mo/Me Release/ b/p

1.) Reversal of Fortune
2.) Guardian
3.) Mend Condition
4.) **Release Enchantments**
5.) Mantra of Recall {e}
6.) Holy Veil / Reverse Hex / Inspired Hex
7.) Rebirth
8.) Divine Boon

Basically the prot throws a couple enchantments on the other monk and the other monk pops Release Enchantments for an enormous party-wide heal. On top of this, the prot can carry boon to heal the party even more or bring Life Sheath / Prot Spirit to mitigate large amounts of damage.

The second build can also be substituted for anyone with 15-16 Divine Favor and Release Enchantments on their bar.

omg, hey draco ;D

i used the build from this little lovely topic.

of course, you can just run your own build as long as you do your job. its hard to make up a teambuild with other monks anyways, so use whatever floats your boat.

hmm ok i guess my build i got now will work then..

Maybe what ive should have asked what's an good healing tactic when you reach the boss and have -8hp egen
i just got this idea let's say ther's 4monk's in team then 2stand's back and dosent get affected by -8hp degen and then allso have an BiP Necro to juice up those 2monk energy and then monk's just spamm heal party that shoul be 160+heal combined after each heal party..

This is what i use in the deep.

Mo/N

divine favor:7(sup rune and head piece)
Blood magic:12
Healing:15(sup rune)

Skills:
heal party
offering of blood(elite)
heal other
dwayna's kiss
orison of healing
healing touch
mend condition/mend aliment
rebirth

Pretty much use healing touch on yourself, and everything else on allies. Only problem you might come across is if you spam too much. Hope this helps.

the last time i went into the Deep, one monk in our team let the warrior die in one of the first 4 rooms. After that some people in our group were really angry because he didn't take protective spirit. Another few people said it was logical for the monk to bring prot spirit. But when i read these post i hardly come across this skill.

I suppose you could swap out mend condition for prot spirit. I personally think its an option, but thats me.

Thank you all for the feedback and to be honest it is not for me but for the general comunity to have a idea of wich way to go. Why not for me? well because my own monk cant enter factions yet(second account).
Also these alternative builds to the standart give more options for people to consider and try out. Maybe they are more comfortable witrh a build from here then the one they are currently running .

And for the creativity part... now other people have a base to experiment with(for those who are new to the game or new to monking) .
So now you all know my intention.

And i know i have said it before but thank you .

I love to boon prot BUT I can't in the Deep since there are only 3 monks and heal party is a must there =(. So I take a boon heal build instead.

Mantra of Recall
Divine Boon
Heal Party
Orison of Healing
Dwayna's Kiss
Heal Other
Mend Condition
Rebirth

Monk/Elementalist

16 healing
13 divine
rest in prot
Staff or weapon w/ 20% enchanting mod

dwayna's kiss
orison
other
touch
glyph of lesser energy
heal party
peace and harmony
rebirth

You can keep peace and harmony on yourself and the other monks pretty easily. Use the glyph everytime its available for the heal party spam.

well i had a monk that got deleted, and now in re-did it. its lvl 3, but my fav build was:

heal breese
orison
dwayna kiss
heal party
mark of protection or word of healing {elite}
heal seed or prot spirit (for Deep i would use seed)
essence bond or divine boon (depnding on area)
rebirth

i still have to get my monk to lvl 20 and try it in the deep... but i was using this build pretty much evrytime when i was a healer. worked great in FOW, SF and most of high end gaming places

hmm, this is what i take..

Monk/whatever
16 Healing
6 prot
12 divine

Orison
Dwaynas Kiss
Word of healing/Blessed light
Prot spirit
Healing seed
Heal party
Mend condition/Holy veil
Rebirth

You can be monk/anything... But you have no energy management what so ever, so you actually need to be paying attention. You want 16 points in healing and around 12 in Divine favour.. with the rest going into prot. Ideally what order you use your skills are, Prot spirit --> healing seed --> orison/kiss/woh (Depending on life) or just regen, then when seed runs out you'll need to heal the tank when he gets to 45% health. Recast prot spirit then repeat the cycle.

I use a Wenslaughs Faith and a bow that has a +19%, +5 energy mod on it.

i use a rather energy-heavy skillset, but i've gotten used to it.

orison
ethereal light
jamei's gaze
prot spirit
extinguish (i'm not kidding. this thing works like a charm b/c I request the other two/three monks to bring mend condition. this skill is the single fastest way short of using Martyr to counter death novas/viper's def/jagged strike/flowers when everyone in your party window has a condition deeper into the mission.)
heal party
mantra of recall
rebirth

15 healing, 10 insp, 12 DF. +5/20 and 20/20 gear, two +15/-5's for energy swap, and one empty weapon slot to hide energy for depletion aspect.

on a side note, i generally advise against boon protting there...you get overwhelmed too easily without HP, and one of the aspects will completely shut you down (shadows).
