Silent Striker
Dervish/Paragon
Level: 20
Mysticism: 11 (10+1)
Scythe Mastery: 15 (11+4)
Earth Prayers: 7 (6+1)
Motivation: 8
- Vow of Silence [Elite] (Mysticism) <-- cannot be target of or cast spells (this includes your monk's spells!)
- Chorus of Restoration (Motivation) <-- one of the few heals that isn't spell based , 60ish HP per use
- Victorious Sweep (Scythe Mastery)
- Chilling Victory (Scythe Mastery)
- Eremite's Attack (Scythe Mastery)
- Conviction (Earth Prayers) <-- nonspell, +24 armor
- Remedy Signet <-- remove blind
- Sunspear Rebirth Signet ()
Sideboard:
- Banishing Strike (Scythe Mastery) in places with Minionmasters and spirit spammers (Kirin, etc.)
Rationale:
The problem with Vow of Silence is that you cannot cast spells. Most skills from the Dervish line for defense come in the form of spells. That means you cannot heal yourself.
Not all damage comes from spells, which is why you need a heal since your healers' spells cannot target you as well. This is a minor quirk with dire consequences.
Chorus of Restoration is easily spammable when you hit multiple targets and it counts itself as a chant so it can be chained to great effectiveness on a multi-target attacker.
Nonspell skills can still hit a target under Vow of silence and give you blind/burn/poison/weakness/ etc so that is why there is remedy signet.
If there was no +25 armor cap, then Bladeturn Refrain and Stand Your ground might have be considered. o well.
