N/D Lich's MM
Introduction
In my quest to make a resilient minion master that doesn't rely on Heal Area and Healing Prayers in general, I devised a build to minimize damage and degen taken.
The build
Necromancer/Dervish
Level: 20
Soul Reaping: 11 (10+1) <-- kind of bad with the soul reaping nerf, so bumping this down from 12+1 isn't that bad
Blood Magic: 3 (2+1) <-- for dark bond
Death Magic: 16 (12+4) <-- obviously you need 16 for 10 minions
Earth Prayers: 8 <-- mystic regen
- Animate Bone Fiend (Death Magic) <-- 25 energy is tough to get
- Animate Bone Horror (Death Magic) <-- 10 energy cost effective minions
- Signet of Lost Souls (Soul Reaping) <-- energy gain for when soul reaping fails you
- Blood of the Master (Death Magic) <-- heal minions
- Aura of the Lich [Elite] (Death Magic) <-- cuts health sacrifice in 1/4
- Dark Bond (Blood Magic) <-- minimize damage taken by diverting 75% to minions
- Mystic Regeneration (Earth Prayers) <-- +9 regen when all 3 enchants are up, reduces disadvantage of degen on Aura of the Lich
- Sunspear Rebirth Signet () <-- res
Sideboard:
- Animate Shambling Horror (Death Magic) / Animate Vampiric Horror (Death Magic) instead of Animate Bone Fiend, for a full melee based set of minions
Thrown out:
- Conviction (Earth Prayers) instead of Dark Bond, for less regen but +24 armor, 75% less damage is more useful than +24 armor since +40 armor is half the damage taken from armor-factoring sources such as physical and elemental
Usage
-Signet of Lost souls on Targets with <50% HP
-Animate Bone Horror to get minions
-Aura of the lich and Dark Bond should be used to minimize damage
-Mystic Regeneration is used to deal with health sacrifices. The constant 9 regen should make life a lot easier
-Blood of the Master is obviously used to heal minions. This is especially important when you are under Dark Bond and take damage
-Animate Bone fiend when energy is topped out, since it is 25 energy
