Introduction
In my quest to make a resilient minion master that doesn't rely on Heal Area and Healing Prayers in general, I devised a build to minimize damage and degen taken.

The build

Necromancer/Dervish
Level: 20

Soul Reaping: 11 (10+1) <-- kind of bad with the soul reaping nerf, so bumping this down from 12+1 isn't that bad
Blood Magic: 3 (2+1) <-- for dark bond
Death Magic: 16 (12+4) <-- obviously you need 16 for 10 minions
Earth Prayers: 8 <-- mystic regen

- Animate Bone Fiend (Death Magic) <-- 25 energy is tough to get
- Animate Bone Horror (Death Magic) <-- 10 energy cost effective minions
- Signet of Lost Souls (Soul Reaping) <-- energy gain for when soul reaping fails you
- Blood of the Master (Death Magic) <-- heal minions
- Aura of the Lich [Elite] (Death Magic) <-- cuts health sacrifice in 1/4
- Dark Bond (Blood Magic) <-- minimize damage taken by diverting 75% to minions
- Mystic Regeneration (Earth Prayers) <-- +9 regen when all 3 enchants are up, reduces disadvantage of degen on Aura of the Lich
- Sunspear Rebirth Signet () <-- res

Sideboard:
- Animate Shambling Horror (Death Magic) / Animate Vampiric Horror (Death Magic) instead of Animate Bone Fiend, for a full melee based set of minions

Thrown out:
- Conviction (Earth Prayers) instead of Dark Bond, for less regen but +24 armor, 75% less damage is more useful than +24 armor since +40 armor is half the damage taken from armor-factoring sources such as physical and elemental

Usage
-Signet of Lost souls on Targets with <50% HP
-Animate Bone Horror to get minions
-Aura of the lich and Dark Bond should be used to minimize damage
-Mystic Regeneration is used to deal with health sacrifices. The constant 9 regen should make life a lot easier
-Blood of the Master is obviously used to heal minions. This is especially important when you are under Dark Bond and take damage
-Animate Bone fiend when energy is topped out, since it is 25 energy

edit; Read it again.

I'd drop Horror for Shambling, if it's AB/PvE your energy should be fine considering the amount of stuff dying, I'd drop SoLS for Death Nova.

I prefer Conviction because enchantment removal is much more common than stance removal, and you don't have to stop and cast it.

Basically what I run in FA/AB except with something like 2 sups and +AL gear (total max health 380, before AoTL :P), res->infuse condition/dark aura, horror->shambling or rend/gaze/WoP if in FA as a luxon or conviction. For pve I don't really consider aotl and all the other self healing stuff necessary, I'd rather take a more damaging variant.

Heir of the Master isn't a new build...

When the builds page on wiki was still up there was a similar build on it which was even better in it's work.

Death Magic: 16 (12+1+3)
Soul Reaping: 10 (9+1)
Earth Prayers: 8
Blood Magic: 5 (4+1)

Rebirth Signet can be swapped for SoLS when in AB

its the name of the build because ur a minion master so ur basicaly the Heir when ur using Aura of the Lich
