There s a thread here called [HM] Fahranur the first city mo 55 farm @ page1 and Witte's HM Solo Farm @ page 2 of farming section.

A lot of builds that worked before, now work again in normal mode. Some 2006 builds still work exactly the same if not better now in normal mode.

Also I highly doubt that you will find a dead sword in UW. Do your search and actually read the thread.

Yeah, Dead Swords don't drop in UW. Get Nightfall, use Mo/D in HM to farm dead swords at Fahranur, The First City. You can get them very easily there, sometimes can get 2 in one 20 minute run. Low req ones seem to drop more here then farming Slave Spirits.

You got to be kiddin, I did like 20 runs and didn't even find 1

I mean the high or low req dead sword, ahhh well, lots of cloth I did find

You can still do the “dead sword farming quest” search it on Wiki, it is in the desolation of Nightfall. Picked up three that way. M/ME plain 55 build but must have mantra of resolve. Can also do it in Hardmode to but need a -20 off hand because you will get killed getting to the quest location. If a ghost has it in there hands more than likely it will drop for you. Been doing the 1st city farm lately and have not seen one yet, but too early to call it quits yet.
