Team Build around Henchies?
Ok, so far all the team builds I have seen involved builds for full player groups. Makes sense- MMO and all that. BUT, I am interested in finding a team build that involved 1 player, 3 heroes, 4 henchies. For instance, which heroes/hero builds and henchies would work well together, etc etc.
My current setup is
My character (Searing Flames Elementalist)
Koss (W/A Earth Shaker based Build)
Jora (W/P Custom Dragon Slash variant build)
Dunkoro (Mo Generic Healer)
Healer Henchman
Protector Henchman
Ranger Henchman
Necro Henchman
2 healers. 1 protection. Elementalist. Necro. 2 warriors. Ranger.
It works alright but I'm wondering if there isn't a better combination or setup I could use that would make better use of the henchies. Only changes I don't really want to make are to my character (I REALLY like my current build) and I don't want to get rid of Jora (I have her mini pet and want the matching hero =D). Otherwise I'm willing to change out anything.
Suggestions?
On a side note- Jora makes EXCELLENT use of the Dragon Slash build. I was quite surprised. But if you can think of any other sword/board builds a hero AI would use better, do share!

PvXWiki has heaps of hero teams. Look them up.
1) Searing Flames is very meh with only one person using it.
2) Melee heroes tend to suck due to bad AI and are a waste of hero slots.
3) Don't know how well heroes run Earth Shaker. They don't get Whirlwind Attack, which hurts the build.
4) Heroes don't like spamming DSlash, so you'll need to tweak it carefully to ensure you get good usage out of it.
5) The Monk bars aren't anything special. You're better off finding something that can carry prots as well rather than half heals and half energy management. Taking both healer henchies is enough to keep you alive. Wasting a hero slot on another means your team as a whole is dealing sub-par damage. Killing things quickly is better than loading up on tons of defense and having fights drag on forever. I recommend ditching this hero altogether for something offense based.

Alrighty, if I drop off Koss for a more dps based character, which henchies would you suggest running with?
Also- you mentioned Searing Flames being meh by itself... do you think a hero searing flames ele would help at all?

Don't be too concerned about henchies. Heroes are much more important.
Regarding hero builds: Honestly I'd just ditch them all and go for spiritway, but you don't want that so... Fit in Minion Bomber and an SoS Rit perhaps (and Jora because you want her). The SoS Rit is probably a secondary preference to another SF Ele if you insist on using it yourself.
After you get your heroes right pick henchies according to what you need. I would pick up both Monk henchies (assuming you ditch the monk hero) then take an interrupter if necessary and then whatever else you feel like. Necros, Eles, Rangers, Melee, etc.

What Marty said. Most typical hero set ups are Sabway, Discordway, Spiritway, etc.. found on PvX.
If you yourself love using a Searing Flames build then you might want to look into one of the original hero set ups which consisted of 2 Searing Flames E/Me's with some token interrupts and a Minion Master. Before "synergy","meta game" , and EotN gave you a 3rd Necro. That build was burning through enemies literally.
