Guide to Guild Wars lingo
In view of posts like this one, I thought this would be a good idea. This first post is going to be very rudimentary, so if you have any additions by all means point them out.
100b - Hundred Blades. This is a Warrior elite skill that does slashing damage in an AoE, especially useful for triggering skills like Mark of Pain.
330 - Elementalist farming build using Protective Spirit and a max HP of 330. The build uses Stoneflesh Aura to reduce damage taken from 33 to 0. Compare 55.
55 - Monk farming build utilising Protective Spirit and a max HP of 55. Having 55 max HP and Protective Spirit means the build takes a maximum of 5 damage a hit. Old build, rarely seen. Compare 330.
600 - Old farming build that was largely removed by a functionality change to Holy Wrath. The idea is to deal damage with Holy Wrath and Retribution, while avoiding it via Spirit Bond and Protective Spirit on yourself. The build got its name from the max HP it ran, 600.
AD - American District. AD1 = American District 1, etc. Compare ID.
AL - Armour level. Measures the target's total armour. Higher armour reduces damage taken from most attacks. Compare AR.
ANet - Arena Net, the company behind Guild Wars.
AoHM - Aura of Holy Might. This is a Dervish PvE skill that greatly increases the damage done by a scythe.
AoE - Area of effect. If something is AoE it means it can hit more than one target.
AotL - Aura of the Lich. This is one of the best elites for hero Necro MMs, although there are lots of competitive options.
AoS - In PvE, generally means Air of Superiority. Air of Superiority is one of only two skills that immediately recharge all your skills (the other is Assassin's Promise). However, it is unreliable, happening only 10% of the time. In PvP, AoS generally stands for Aura of Stability, which is one of the few skills that can prevent knockdowns. Since knockdowns are deadly in PvP this is also an important spell.
AP - Assassin's Promise. This is an Assassin elite skill that happens to be one of the best elites for other caster classes like Necromancers and Elementalists.
AR - Can be Aggressive Refrain, Ancestor's Rage or Armour rating. Aggressive Refrain is notable as one of the few IAS's available to Paragons. Ancestor's Rage is a fairly strong AoE nuke that's more or less guaranteed to hit if used well. Armour rating measures the target's total armour. Higher armour reduces damage taken from most attacks. See AL.
BB - Backbreaker. Warrior elite Hammer attack that knocks down for 4s. It is the only skill to do so in PvP. Even in PvE there are very few skills that knock down for 4s.
BDS - Bone Dragon Staff. Rare, so very valuable.
BiP - Blood is Power. This Necro elite more than doubles the energy regeneration of another target, and is one of the few ways to boost someone else's energy gain.
blue bar - another way of calling "energy bar". Compare red bar.
BLA - Battle for Lion's Arch, the final mission of the War in Kryta. This is one of the harder missions in the game.
blurred - Blurred Vision. A Water hex that causes the target's attack to miss half the time, it is important in PvP as a defensive tool.
BoA - Burst of Aggression. It used to last much longer and so used often by Assassins, but has since been nerfed. Now largely a subpar skill.
BSurge - Blinding Surge, an Elementalist elite skill. One of the best ways to apply Blind, this skill is also notorious as one of the best ways to get enemy Warriors angry.
BU - Back up, but it's not used in the standard sense. Some speedclears require consets to work, so if 30 minutes passes and the area is not clear then someone has to use a backup.
BUH - "By Ural's Hammer!", a PvE-only shout notable for increasing all damage done. Very powerful.
build - the 8 skills you can bring each time you go adventuring, as well as the attribute points you've invested in the skill lines.
Buildwars - A mostly PvP term, it means to tailor a build for a specific opponent by anticipating what they plan to use and then bringing strong counter skills. Often derogatory, indicating that the match was determined not by gameplay but by skill selection prior to the match.
Bull's - Bull's Strike. This Warrior attack punishes the target for moving. Primarily a PvP skill, many PvP Warriors tend to love this skill and boast when they successfully land it.
CC - Celestial Compass. A rare skin, and so quite valuable.
CoF - Cathedral of Flames or Cry of Frustration. Cry of Frustration does armour-ignoring damage in an AoE, but it requires a successful interrupt. Cathedral of Flames used to be the most-run dungeon in the game. However, after 600 got nerfed, it's harder to run now. See 600.
CoP - Cry of Pain or Contemplation of Purity. Cry of Pain is one of the few Mesmer skills that does unconditional damage in an AoE. Contemplation of Purity used to be standard on Monks (with Divine Boon), but after multiple nerfs to Divine Boon it died out.
Cripshot - Crippling Shot. Ranger elite attack that essentially results in a permanent cripple. One of the more important Ranger skills in PvP, it is not of much importance in PvE.
cry - can be Cry of Pain or Cry of Frustration. See CoP and CoF.
ded - Dedicated at the Hall of Monuments. A dedicated item cannot be dedicated again to another character. Compare "unded".
derv - Dervish, one of the primary professions in the game.
Discordway - a H/H teambuild that relies on spiking down targets quickly with 3 copies of Discord. Arguably the most common H/H teambuild around right now. See the page on PvX Wiki for more details.
DH - Divine Healing. A not-very-powerful but cheap and quick-casting party heal. This is the same spell as Heaven's Delight (HD).
DKiss - Dwayna's Kiss. This is notable as one of the few reasonable, non-elite spells a Monk has that can heal an ally.
DoA - Domain of Anguish, an elite area in the Nightfall campaign. This is the only area in the game where you can get Gemstones, which are in turn required for Ambraces.
DoT - Damage over Time. Breath of Fire at 16 Fire Magic does 42 damage per second, or 42 DoT.
DPS - damage per second, or how much damage done over how long it took to deal that damage.
draw - Draw Conditions. This Monk spell removes all conditions from the target. Most often cast on targets with Dazed, Cripple or Blind.
Dshot - Distracting Shot, a Ranger skill that interrupts and disables a skill. It is one of the best interrupts in the game.
DSlash - Dragon Slash. Warrior elite attack that returns adrenaline, making for a great combo with FGJ.
DTSC - Drazach Thicket Speed Clear. This is one of the fastest ways to earn Kurzick faction.
DWG - Destructive Was Glaive. This Ritualist elite skill is a key part of several elite-area clears right now, and is capable of dealing massive AoE damage in a short duration.
(e) - elite skill. One might write Word of Healing [e] when listing a build to indicate that Word of Healing is the elite skill in the build.
EBSoH - Ebon Battle Standard of Honor. This is a ward spell notable for being one of the few ways to increase other caster's damage output.
Ecto - Glob of Ectoplasm. This is a rare crafting material and an important currency in Guild Wars.
ele - Elementalist, one of the primary professions in the game.
energy management - the act of keeping energy at usable levels. Energy management skills can either return energy directly, boost energy regenration or lower energy costs.
Ensign - a respected member of the community. He was a world-class PvP'er many years ago and still plays to a very high level. Ensign posts in this forum under the forum name "Ensign". His posts are generally uncommon but well worth reading.
EoE - Edge of Extinction. This Ranger nature ritual does massive damage to all creatures of the same type in range (e.g. all Centaurs, all Dwarves, etc). Can potentially kill your own team if used against humans.
EotN - Eye of the North, a Guild Wars expansion.
ER - Ether Renewal, an Elementalist elite. If properly used, it can restore over 20 energy and 200 health every time the you cast a spell.
ESurge - Energy Surge, a Mesmer elite. It is one of the few Mesmer spells that deals unconditional damage in an AoE. It is also an important way to kill the target's energy.
EVAS - Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support. This is a very powerful PvE-only skill that can deal over 200 damage on its own. Also abbreviated "EBVAS".
FA - Fort Aspenwood, a PvP area in the game. See the Wiki page for more on this arena.
FGJ - "For Great Justice!", a Warrior shout. It doubles adrenaline gained, not only from attacks but also from skills that return adrenaline (such as Dragon Slash).
FH - "Finish Him!", this is one of only two shouts that deal direct damage. It is also one of the easiest ways for a character to inflict Deep Wound at long range.
FF - Can mean Foul Feast or Faction Farm. Foul Feast is a Necro skill that removes all conditions from target other ally while providing some health and energy. Faction Farm is simply to farm faction as fast as possible. What kind of faction is farmed depends on context (can be Balth faction, Kurz / Lux faction, etc).
FoC - Feast of Corruption. Necro elite skill that is one of the few AoE armour-ignoring spells in the game.
FoW - Fissure of Woe, an area in Guild Wars. This is the main area where Obsidian Shards are found.
FS - Frozen Soil, a Ranger nature ritual. This is the only way to stop res spells from being cast in the first place, and is very helpful against mobs with lots of resses.
GDW - Great Dwarf Weapon. A very powerful PvE-only weapon spell that adds big damage to every hit and a 40% chance of knockdown to boot, the main drawback is that it cannot be cast on self.
GFTE - "Go For The Eyes!". A Paragon shout that costs only adrenaline, making it a favourite choice for energy management on Paragons (Paragons gain energy when using shouts, because of their primary ability).
GH - Guild Hall. Every player can map to their Guild Hall from any area in the game.
GoEP - Glyph of Elemental Power. It's one of the few ways for a caster to increase his own damage.
GoLE - Glyph of Lesser Energy. It is an Elementalist skill notable as being one of the best energy management skills around and is usable even with 0 spec.
GToB - Great Temple of Balthazar. After Kamadan and Lion's Arch, this is the area of the game with the most players. It is also one of the few outposts a PvP character can access.
GvG - Guild vs. Guild, a PvP area in the game. This tends to be the arena in which ANet pays most attention to when balancing.
GW - short for Guild Wars.
H/H - Heroes + Henchmen. These are AI-controlled bots, although you can take direct control of a hero as well as change its build. If a player H/H's something, it means he does that something with himself + heroes and henchmen (no other humans in the party).
HA - Heroes's Ascent, a PvP area in the game. See the Wiki page for more on this arena.
HB - can be Hero Battles, Healer's Boon or Hundred Blades. Hero Battles used to be a PvP arena in the game, but it was removed in an update not so long ago. Healer's Boon is a Monk elite that increses the power of healing spells while reducing cast times. Many players view Healer's Boon as a subpar Monk elite, but it continues to be a metagame build. Hundred Blades is more commonly referred to as 100b.
HD - Heaven's Delight. A not-very-powerful but cheap and quick-casting party heal. This is the same spell as Divine Healing (DH).
HM - Hard mode. When in HM, monsters move faster, deal more damage, are higher level, etc.
HoM - Hall of Monuments. This is the place where you carry things over to Guild Wars 2.
IAU - "I Am Unstoppable!". This PvE-only shout makes you immune to cripple and KDs for a long time, making it a very important skill for runners.
IAS - Increased attack speed. Very important for racking up the damage numbers on physical attackers.
ID - International District. Compare AD.
Imbagon - a Paragon build. Mainly defensive, it works by pumping out big party-wide defense. See PvX for details.
IMS - Increased movement speed. Helpful to run quickly between monsters.
Invoke - Invoke Lightning. This elite Elementalist spell is one of the few AoE damage spells in the Air line.
IWAY - "I Will Avenge You!". In PvP, can also refer to any build characterized by multiple W/R's with pets that aim to get the pets dead in order to use this skill.
JS -> FF -> DB - Jagged Strike, Fox Fangs and Death Blossom, used in that order. Death Blossom is the dual attack that does significant AoE damage; the first two are the prerequisites that conveniently activate faster than normal.
JQ - Jade Quarry, a PvP area in the game. See the Wiki page for more on this arena.
KD - Knock down. A target that is knocked down can activate only a very few skills, such as stances and shouts.
Kite - Process of moving oneself out of range of opponent skill usage, forcing opponent movement before they can use their skills. Predominantly used for moving away from melee foes, but can also be applied to ranged attacks and spellcasting (especially to projectiles like Lightning Orb).
Knock - The act of knocking down an opponent.
Kurz - Short for Kurzick, one of two warring factions in the Factions expansion.
LA - Lion's Arch, an area in the game. This is usually the area in the game with the second most players, after Kamadan.
LB - Lightbringer. Players with high ranks in Lightbringer deal more damage against certain monsters in the Nightfall expansion.
Lux - Short for Luxon, one of two warring factions in the Factions expansion.
MB - can mean Minion Bomber or Mind Blast. Mind Blast is an Elementalist elite skill that provides lots of energy. Minion Bomber is a special sub-build of MMs, where the MM casts Death Nova on the minions.
Mes - Mesmer, one of the primary professions in the game.
Meta - Shorthand for metagame. This is the current state of the game, which includes commonly used strategies and builds. Although they have different metas, they are present in both PvE and PvP.
MBAS - Mend Body And Soul, this is one of the few options Restoration Rits have to remove conditions.
MoI - Mirror of Ice. Elementalist elite skill that does armour-ignoring damage each time a water hex is cast, which is most skills in the Water line.
MoP - Mark of Pain, a Necromancer skill. This skill can do massive damage in an AoE if properly used and supported.
MM - Minion Master, a Necromancer build involving raising an army of undead servants.
MQSC - Mount Qinkai Speed Clear. This is one of the fastest ways to earn Luxon faction.
nec - Necromancer, one of the primary professions in the game. "Necro" means the same thing.
NM - Normal mode. Compare HM.
NRA - Ranger PvE-only skill that increases both attackspeed and movespeed. It is one of very few skills that does both. Compare RaO.
Oath - Oath Shot, or any (PvP) spirit based build that uses Oath Shot to recharge spirits.
Omegaspike - A PvP term, it refers to a spike teambuild where the damage comes across a much larger window, but has much more damage than a normal spike. Its lethality comes not from an opponent's inability to react, but from the extra damage killing an opponent through defensive reactions.
para - Paragon, one of the primary professions in the game.
Patient - Patient Spirit. This Monk spell heals for quite a bit considering its 5e energy cost.
PBAoE - Point blank AoE, or AoE skills that hit only in the immediate area around the caster. Example spells include Frozen Burst and Inferno. See also AoE.
perma - a build that maintains Shadow Form indefinitely, therefore becoming almost invulnerable. Very powerful, and especially important in speed clears.
PI - Can mean either Pain Inverter or Psychic Instability. Pain Inverter deals damage to the target each time the target lands its own damage. The damage output can be considerable; however, it requires friendly targets to take damage. Psychic Instability is a Mesmer elite skill that KDs in a large AoE for a long duration (up to 4 seconds).
ping - When used as a verb it means "show me / us your build". This can be done by holding CTRL and then left-clicking your skillbar.
pre-veil - To put Holy Veil on a target before it gets hexed. This increases the cast time and allows instant hex removal when the hex finally finishes.
Prot - Protection prayers. Can also be any buff that increases defense, such as Rit weapons. Having such buffs on a character means the character is "protted". Also the act of applying those buffs, or the backline character that has these type of skills.
PS - Protective Spirit. This is a powerful Protection Prayers spell, especially powerful in HM when monsters can hit for hundreds of damage a hit.
Pub - derivative of PuG.
PuG - Pick up Group. Technically any group that is composed of people that are unfamiliar with each other. Also refers to any individual picked up by a group, and the act of seeking or creating one of these groups. Often used in a derogatory fashion, as such groups often lack coordination and / or include bad players.
PvE - Player vs. Environment.
PvP - Player vs. Player.
PvX - a wiki that deals with builds in Guild Wars.
PwK - Protective Was Kaolai, this is one of the better item spells in Guild Wars and the only on-demant party heal Restoration Rits have.
Qknock - The act of knocking down an opponent within 1/4 of a second after they stand up from a knockdown, preventing spellcasting and effectively extending the first knockdown. Compare Qrupt.
Qrupt - The act of interrupting within the first 1/4 second of an opponent standing up from a knockdown, which will interrupt any skill queued while on the ground. Compare Qknock.
QZ - Quickening Zephyr, a Ranger ritual. One of the few ways to reliably reduce cooldowns, this has the drawback of dramatically increasing energy costs.
RA - Random Arena, a PvP area in the game. See the Wiki page for more on this arena.
Rainbowspike - A PvP term, it is a catch-all name for any type of spike where each character uses different skills to contribute. Usually a caster (aka. long range) spike, though sometimes has melee.
RaO - Rampage as One. This skill is one of the few skills that increases both movespeed and attackspeed. The 25e cost makes it usable only by Ranger primaries. Compare NRA.
rawrspike - A PvP term, this refers to various highly defensive spiking builds used by the guild [rawr].
RC - Restore Condition, this Monk elite skill not only removes all conditions on the target but provides a fairly large heal.
red bar - another way of calling "health bar". Compare blue bar.
Rend - Rend Enchantments, a Necro skill. This skill essentially removes all enchantments from the target.
res/rez - a skill that can resurrect dead characters. A "soft" res can only be used once, and a "hard" res can be used repeatedly. Can also be used as a verb.
Rit - Ritualist, one of the primary professions in the game.
RoF - Reversal of Fortune. This Monk spells casts in 1/4s, cools down quite quickly as well and turns damage into healing. Most useful as a panic button.
RSpike - A PvP teambuild, it is a spike teambuild featuring multiple rangers. Historically has had many different versions.
RtW - Read the Wind. This skill gained some notoriety in PvP since it made Ranger spike that much more powerful. Has since been nerfed for PvP.
Sabway - one of the first H/H teambuilds to become well known. See the page on PvX Wiki for more details.
SB - Spirit Bond. A powerful, but costly, Protection Prayers spell. Historically, it has also meant Spellbreaker.
SB/RI - Outdated PvP teambuild that exploited the synergy between Soul Barbs and Recurring Instability. That synergy has since been removed, and the build no longer works.
SC - speed clear. Generally means a teambuild optimized to clearing an area as fast as possible.
SE - Slaver's Exile. EotN elite dungeon, this is the only place in the game to get Deldrimor Armour Remnants and is an important source of Voltaic Spears.
seed - Seed of Life, a Monk PvE-only skill that heals all party members when the target takes damage. To "seed" someone is to cast Seed of Life on him.
SF - Shadow Form or Searing Flames. Shadow Form grants near-immunity to almost all forms of damage and can be maintained indefinitely with the right build. Searing Flames is a fast-recharging, large-AoE Elementalist damage spell. It has been widely derided as a spell that takes no player skill to use effectively.
SH - can be Savannah Heat or Shielding Hands. Savannah Heat is an Elementalist elite and the epitome of Fire-based DoT AoE. Shielding Hands is a Monk protection spell. It has the distinction of reducing all damage, including armour-ignoring damage from skills like Cry of Frustration.
Shard - Obsidian Shard. This is a rare crafting material and an important currency in Guild Wars (but less important than Ecto).
sin - Assassin, one of the primary professions in the game.
snare - Reduced movement speed. To snare a target means to reduce its movement speed.
spec - the amount of skill points you have into any particular attribute (putting 12 points into Protection Prayers, for example).
spike - To deal large damage within a short window of time. In PvP, can also be a build where the offense is designed around spiking.
SoA - Shield of Absorption. This is a Monk protection spell that increses in power quickly as the target takes damage. Like Shielding Hands, it also reduces armour-ignoring damage.
SoGM - Signet of Ghostly Might, a Ritualist elite skill used in many spirit spam builds.
SoO - Shards of Orr, an EotN dungeon. One of the harder ones in the game, the boss Fendi Nin is particularly difficult to kill. The dungeon is the only place to get Bone Dragon Staves (BDS).
SoS - Signet of Spirits, a Ritualist elite skill that is key to many spirit spam builds. It deals massive damage on its own.
spiritway - A H/H teambuild that uses two spirit-spamming Rits to deal damage. Arguably one of the strongest teambuilds around right now, it is also relatively new.
spirit spam - to cast a lot of spirits (i.e. Ritualist binding rituals).
Splinter Barrage - a Ranger build that uses Splinter Weapon, a Ritualist spell, and Barrage, a Ranger elite, to deal damage in an AoE.
SS - Spiteful Spirit. It's a Necromancer elite spell that does damage in an AoE each time the target attacks or uses a skill. Arguably inferior to other options available to Necromancers right now, it remains a relatively common choice.
ST - Soul Twisting, a Ritualist elite skill that is used to reduce the costs of and instantly recharge spirits. It can be very helpful in keeping spirits up.
SV - Can be Spoil Victor or Sympathetic Visage. Spoil Victor is notable because just about every monster in HM has more health than a player, and so Spoil Victor will trigger almost all the time. Sympathetic Visage is mainly a farming skill used to quickly drain the victims of energy and adrenaline, stopping them from using interrupts.
Sway - A PvP term, it refers to PvP spiritways (as opposed to PvE spiritway). These builds are characterized by lack of traditional warriors or traditional frontline, often replacing them with thumpers or sins. The backline uses predominantly ritualist skills rather than monk skills, and the offense typically has heavy degen pressure. There have been a whole host of different sways over the years. Some PvP'ers hate sway and the players who play it, therefore referring to it as shitway.
SY - "Save Yourselves!", a Warrior PvE-only shout that provides +100 armor to the rest of the party (or over >80% damage reduction).
TA - Team Arena, a PvP area of the game that was removed not so long ago by ANet.
thumper - Ranger pet build that uses a Hammer. Primarily a PvP build, it has historically existed before RaO.
TNTF - "There's Nothing To Fear!", a Paragon PvE-only shout that provides big damage reduction and is a core part of the Imbagon build.
Tombs - See ToPK.
ToPK - Tomb of Primeval Kings, an elite area in Tyria. Noted for having absurdly useless henchmen, it is not very lucrative. In the long past, HA used to be called "Tombs" as well, but its name has been changed.
train - A PvP term, it refers to coordinated target but non-coordinated timing of unloading offensive skills. Typically referring to melee characters that continue to stay on the same target after it starts kiting or receiving prots. Such melee behavior is typically poor play, but has its uses.
UA - Unyielding Aura, a Monk elite. This is the single best hard res in the game, and has other benefits as well.
unded - Not dedicated at the Hall of Monuments. Compare "ded".
UW - Underworld, an area in Guild Wars. This is the main area where Ectos are found, and very lucrative.
UWSC - see UW and SC.
VoR - Visions of Regret, a Mesmer elite spell. This spell damages the target whenever he or she uses a skill.
VQ - Vanquish, which is to kill all foes in an area, in Hard Mode. There are a few tough areas but in general this is one of the easiest things to do in HM.
VS - Voltaic Spear. A rare skin and so quite valuable.
wammo - a rather derogatory term for a bad player. It arose from Warrior / Monks. Although there is nothing wrong with that combination, many bad players have used it and thus given the build a bad reputation.
war - Warrior, one of the primary professions in the game.
-way - A suffix, usually applied to any build that can easily be executed by a PuG. Derivative from IWAY. Also commonly used in an insulting manner.
WE - Warrior's Endurance, a warrior elite skill that gives energy on each hit. Allows Warriors to use energy-based attacks in addition to adrenaline-based attacks. Compare Zealous Vow (ZV).
WiK - War in Kryta, a series of missions late in the game.
WoH - Word of Healing, a powerful monk elite skill that provides a huge heal when the target is <50% health.
WotA - Way of the Assassin, an Assassin elite skill. It increses attack speed and critical-hit rate.
WoW - in Guild Wars, this generally means Weapon of Warding, a Ritualist spell (not World of Warcraft).
WS - Wounding Strike, a Dervish elite that inflicts Deep Wound and Bleeding. This is notable as one of the easiest ways to inflict Deep Wound.
WW - Wastrel's Worry, one of the few Mesmer direct-damage skills.
YAA - "You're All Alone!", an elite Warrior shout. Not an important skill in PvE but it serves as an instant-casting, energy-based snare in PvP.
YMLAD - "You Move Like A Dwarf!", this is one of only two PvE shouts that deal direct damage.
ZB - Can mean either Zealous Benediction (a Monk elite skill) or the Zaishen Bounty. Zealous Benediction is the only Monk spell in Protection Prayers that provides unconditional healing. Zaishen Bounty is a daily kill-this-guy mission. Doing the Zaishen Bounty is one of the only ways to earn Zaishen coins. Compare ZM.
ZM - Zaishen Mission. It is a daily quest to do one of the main Guild Wars storyline missions. Doing the Zaishen Mission is one of the only ways to earn Zaishen coins. Compare ZB.
ZV - Zealous Vow, a Dervish elite skill that gives energy on each hit. It is a major option for Dervishes to manage their energy. Compare Warrior's Endurance (WE).

Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support is generally referred to as EVAS, not EBVAS. Couple other things that might be worth including are 100b(more common than HB), SS, SoS, LA, EotN, GH, ad(american district), id(int district). If we're going really basic, you might want to also consider adding lfg, glf, wts, wtb, etc. Oh, you also forgot DoA.

If I had a nickle for everytime I heard someone refer to Ancestor's Rage as AR, I'd have one nickle.
Its usually just called "Ancestor's"....and very seldom at that since its barely ever used.

I only ever use it for Spiteful Spirit, but there are a lot of people who use it for Spirit Spammer. Agreed on "ARage" for Ancestor's Rage. Never seen "LP" for lockpicks, though: usually see them called "picks".
I suggest adding things like 15^50, 15^stance, 5/20 and the whole bunch of equipment abbreviations. Also, you forgot IAS and IMS.
Some other commonly used lingo in parties: 1, ping (pinging of builds/foes etc, didn't have anyone ask for my connection ping yet), frontline, aggro, booking, spike, pressure...
Some of these apply to more than just GW, so you might want to make them separate or just add a note.

I've always thought it meant 'Or Best Offer'. That's what I recall it saying in a Ventari's sticky once.

Meta - Shorthand for metagame. This is the current state of the game, which includes commonly used strategies and builds. Although they have different metas, they are present in both PvE and PvP.
Prot - Protection prayers. Can also be any buff that increases defense, such as rit weapons. Also the condition of having such buffs on a character. Also the act of applying those buffs. Also the backline character that has these type of skills.
Snare - Cripple condition or any hex that reduces movement speed
Kite - Process of moving ones-self out of range of opponent skill usage, forcing opponent movement before they can continue skill use. Predominantly used for moving away from melee's, but can also be applied to ranged attacks and spellcasting.
Knock - The act of knocking down an opponent.
Qknock - The act of knocking down an opponent within 1/4 second of a second after they stand up from a knockdown, preventing spellcasting, and effectively extending a knockdown from 3 seconds to 6 seconds.
Qrupt - The act of applying an interrupt within the first 1/4 second of an opponent standing up from a knockdown which will interrupt any skill queued while on the ground.
Spike - Coordinated unloading of offensive skills designed to deal lethal damage within a short window of time. Can also be a build where the offense is designed around spiking.
R-spike - A spike featuring multiple rangers. Historically has had many different versions.
Rainbowspike - Usually a caster spike, though sometimes has melee. It is a catch all name for any type of spike where each character is using different skills to contribute.
Omegaspike - A spike where the damage comes across a much larger window, but has much more damage than a normal spike. Its lethality comes not from an opponent's inability to react, but from the extra damage killing an opponent through defensive reaction.
rawrspike - Builds used by the guild [rawr]. This includes various builds through several metas, but they are characterized by being highly defensive spiking builds.
Train - As differentiated from a spike, coordinated target, but non-coordinated timing of unloading offensive skills. Typically referring to melee characters that continue to stay on the same target after it starts effectively kiting or receiving prots. Often used in a derogatory manner, as such melee behavior is typically poor play.
PuG - Pick up Group. Technically any group that is composed of people that are unfamiliar with each other. Often used in a derogatory fashion as such groups lack coordination. Also an unfamiliar individual picked up by a group, usually used in a derogatory fashion. Also the act of seeking or creating one of these groups, again often used in a derogatory fashion.
Pub/Pubbie - Derivative of PuG, but also derogatory
RaO - Rampage as One. Also any pet build that uses this skill and a non-ranger primary weapon.
Thumper - Pet ranger build that uses a hammer. Historically existed before RaO.
QZ - Quickening Zephyr.
Oath - Oath shot, or any spirit based build that uses Oath shot to recharge spirits.
IWAY - I Will Avenge You, or any build characterized by multiple W/R's with pets that get the pets dead in order to use this skill.
-way - Suffix -way applied to any build that could easily be executed by a PuG. Derivative from IWAY. Also commonly used in an insulting manner.
BB - Backbreaker. Also used to describe the build featuring backbreaker as an opener to use multiple assassin skills (BBway), or a character running such a build (BBwar).
Sway - Spiritway. This is not a new build. This includes many different pug builds that have existed over the years, starting with Nightfall and moving through modern day. These builds are characterized by lack of traditional warriors or traditional frontline, often replacing them with thumpers or sins, the backlines use predominantly ritualist skills rather than monk skills, and the offense typically has heavy degen pressure. Again this is a whole host of builds over the years. Also commonly referred to as shitway.
SB - Currently Spirit Bond. Historically has been used for Spellbreaker. And has also been used for Soul Barbs in the context of SB/RI.
SB/RI - Outdated build that exploited an odd synergy between Soul Barbs and Recurring Instability. That synergy has since been removed.
Buildwars - A type of metagaming. Act of tailoring a build for a specific opponent trying to anticipate what they are running and to bring strong counter skills. Also a derogatory term for Guild Wars or a Guild Wars match indicating that the match was determined not by gameplay, but by skill selection prior to the match.
