The Death of Farming
I want this. I understand Farming is Common and needed Im not here to bash on ppl who do it or to be a troll
I hope GW2 is more successful at alleviating Farming.
But until then i Need some help advice.
The closest I get to farming is running a single dungeon 3-4 times with hero/hench or a guild friendly, I commonly use Bloodstone Cavern but I have come to notice its rewards are lacking(and its getting old), No im not looking for a get rich quick plan.
I Need a nice Dungeon with a good money turn out that dosn't req a farm feel.? i don't care to make 6-10k a day i just want something i can do that's fun and yet not a total waist of time.?
my biggest in-come at the moment is market playing but that is neither fun nor effectively profitable(without trade spamming for 2hours) so any ideas? lately iv been making allot on materials maybe i should look for somewhere that has a high mat turn out??
Im reading up on this now so yes Im doing my "homework" im just hoping "another set of eye's" might help.?
-if this is in the wrong area sry i guess it isn't exactly qualified as farming.

Like you stated you already noticed, Bloodstone's end chest doesn't contain any highly sought rares. If using h/h and guildies, might I suggest a dungeon that has highly sought exclusives as well as other benefits. Frostmaws, Ravens, and Oolas come to mind. They each have highly sought exclusives, provide ample locked chests, and plenty of hidden chests. They are also rather easy to h/h or fight with guildies.

Awesome, Im looking in to Oolas right now on wiki is there a thread on that dungeon that isn't a "how to farm this" thread? and don't i have to run to the entrance is that hard? I will have to look into Raven's idk that one too well.
thanks.

From what I've read from the gw2 team, you apparently won't get phat loot from repetitive activities in gw2. For the majority of areas, stuff won't drop for you, rather you will earn wealth and something akin to karma, that you can spend to purchase the things you want. Being involved in certain dynamic events will give you access to, for example, an armory that sells high end items that you wouldn't have access to without being involved in the event.
They mentioned dungeons would be one of the few things that players may be inclined to repeat, but that they haven't indicated exactly what the motivation would be for doing so.
So, thinking about this from a game design point of view, it seems to me they have put some thought into discouraging bots, solo farmers, grinders, etc. in favor of things that would motivate people do do things together. I'm sure farming will exist in one form or another. That's not necessarily a bad thing. To each his own. But it sounds like players will get ahead more by dynamic events than anything else.

You could always get your H/H, do Bogroot Growths its only two levels. Explosive Growth Minion Bomber Rit is yummy there...
AND! If you get a Nice Froggy, you can make quite a bit of moneh.

Random monsters are still roaming about, and killing them rewards every player who participated by looting the corpse. You have to click the bodies now. It does seem that rewards from participating in events, personal story, activities, etc. will be greater than killing foes over and over for drops. I'm basing this on the demo version, so final release may change.

Material farming is more of a solo thing; Plant Fiber and Feathers/Glittering Dust are both still sought after materials for Resurrection Scrolls and Essence of Celerity.
There's a Dragon Moss farm which is decent for Fiber, and outside Seitung Harbour for Feathers. Do FoW with your guildies for Dark Remains and salvage for Dust gogo!
