I've never tried it with a sythe oriented build, I always run Spell Breaker on myself as well as the hero, but I have ran Mo/D using LoD and AoHM.

Equiptment you want is:

Lowest Possible armor sets (starter if you have it, if not, go to Shing Jea/Ascalon/Kamadan)
Lots of health would be good so Vitae/Survivor/Vigor runes
+1 Protection prayers rune to go on your headpiece (which should be protection +1 too)
Since you're using a sythe I'd say 20/20, 15^ench, and +20% ench.

The thing with the heroes is you need to flag them away from where you're gonna be fighting, because if they get attacked and killed, chances are you'll die as well.

You'll also need to micro some of the heroes skills like Spell Breaker and SoJ so they cast them on your just before combat.

Hope this helps

I use:

OwoS8YITRE1DaR3Vki9g6DAE -600 monk.
OwAT44HDnAgGMfyMlhUe4DA - smite.

Then I use a hero with small heals to heal up the damage the smiter takes from Reversal of Damage.

You really need a staff with 20% ench mod on it else you'll really suffer when it comes to using Spell Breaker.

like posted above me says, keep heroes with you before you aggro, have the smite cast Holy Wrath on you and SoJ then flag and you go in and aggro.

It is tricky at first if you're not used to micro'ing heroes but you soon get the hang of it

should I have the heros in guard or avoid combat?
also im not using the scythe .. im using symbol of wraith, you move like a dwraf and spell breaker instead of the scythe skills

Your heroes should be set to avoid, and should be well out of aggro range. Change your skills to light of deldrimor, spell breaker, aura of holy might. You also will want to use a staff of enchanting. I run this with 2 heroes using 15 armor, so even if you don't have your starter, it won't make much (to be honest if any) difference.
